In the last few weeks I've lost a lot of items using 4x 99% gems on 99% armour or weapons.

Here are 2 examples from today:

Any other SCers having similar problems? I am 1025 SC.

If it's only 2 times in a row, it's just bad luck.
3 Times in a row would have been insane, 4 would probably be a bug.

Btw if you do 3x99% 1x100% you have 0% chance of loosing item.
Try to do 1x100% for the smallest gem if you are scared of this happening.

Since the last few weeks, I've had 3 failures out of the last 7 items I've (attempted) sc.

I'm not risking any more times to beta test. I am interested in others SCing findings though. Please if you have had more BOOMs than normal, I want to hear from you.

To put this in context I've never had an item blow up with 4x 99% gems on 99% gear with a Legendary SCer (thats until Uthgard v2 and the last few weeks). I'm referring to live SC too and Uthgard v1. I've done hundreds of SC orders over the years.

1/100 chance of boom before adjustment (not sure what that is) but my experience has shown me, it was basically a safe bet to SC like this. However assuming 1/100 is the chance of boom. We are talking 1/100 and then 1/100 chance. So 1 in 10,000 chance. I'd call that more than bad luck!

The 1% chance doesn't mean only 1 will explode every 100 craft.
You can't look at it that way Sir.

But if you do something like 10.000 craft with 1% boom every time, you should end up with +/- 100 Boom .

Sometimes you'll do 200 with 0 boom... (is it a bug aswell then ?)
Sometimes you'll do 200 with 5 boom... it happen ...

I understand the feeling, it's kinda raging. But it's not bugged.
Do you see my point ?

Perhaps the point I'm trying to make is: I've never had anything blow up until this current implementation of SC. Why is that? Is something wrong? Are other SCers having problems or is just me having fantastically bad luck (I don't think so).

i boomed here 1 time so far on a lot of sc done, but i boomed on uthg1 too. So maybe you was just really lucky to never boom on uthg1^^

yep I've done loads of orders/suits here and no problems and then 3 booms within the last few weeks. also a guildie recently lsc has had bad luck already too. Just seems a bit quirky how it's now happening more.

Has someone done sc within the last couple of weeks?

8 weapons the same day 3-4 days ago.
0 Boom
Even if, one of them took 7-8 try to be imbued. Wich is not lucky aswell considering 30% chance of success.

Were they?

1. 33/28
2. 33.5/28
3. 37/32
4. 37.5/32
5. Less than 5/5.5 pt oc

33.5 / 28 .

So far we have:

Kha: 33.5/28 x 8 items = 100% success, 0% boom.
Me: Mix of 33/28 + 33.5/28 x 6 items = 75% success, 25% boom.

Any other SC-ers can post their recent SC orders (last few weeks please).

out of the hundreds of pieces (maybe 400-500) I imbued over the past few months, I exploded... 3 times. Including two times in a single day.
ALso, the % chance to explode is for each retry, but I have no count on that.
When possible, I also try crafting 1 mp gem

Seems to be on the lucky side of the ballpark. Definitely less than 1% but not lower by a factor ten.

So you were lucky bastard. I exploded many times on Uth1 and few times on Uth2 already with 33,5/28 all gems 99%. On Uth2 start it was so frustrating for me (like 2x boom in 50 tries) i started to make MP gem always...

It was just bad bad luck...I didn't experience anything similar and I do a lot of SCing.
