Hello peeps~~

Some of you may remember <Critical> as the major zerg guild back when Uthgard launched. For the first 2 months of the server, we were by and large the leading guild on alb in terms of zerg warfare, realm pride, etc. Our alliance took the first Alb keep. Our alliance killed the first dragon. In fact, Albion still has NOT had a relic since we last took one in early February. We always had 50+ members online, always had a ton of people chatting up discord, always had it so you would log in and instantly find a group for PvE, RvR, etc.

Some of you may be familiar with our fall out, and some of you not. To those who remember, we want to apologize for bailing on Albion and trying out the other realms. It was impulsive and wrong, and for that I sincerely apologize. We were a home for a huge faction of casual-competitive players, and I am certain that our withdrawal from this game contributed to a decline in the population, at least on Alb. The GMs and officers took a 2 month break after becoming dissapointed with the state of the game, and after a mental break we are here to start fresh.

We are back, and I am humbly inviting all past and present Critical members to dust off your characters, reignite your uthgard flame, and come back home. The original guildmasters are all starting from scratch, from level 1, and leveling up while re-creating the "casual competitive" family guild that albion desperately needs. This invitation is open to people who knew us before, as well as all of you new players who have no idea who we are and are wondering why you're continuing to read this post .

To reiterate that things are different: there will be no guild tax, no formal rules other than "don't be a dick"... literally the only rule is join our RvR groups & raids when a call to arms is issued. I will personally be leading 8v8, zerg, small man, keep take, DF raid, dragon raid, and of course, I will bring the relics back to albion. None of this will be possible without your involvement, and if you want to have a serious home to enjoy this game with, I offer you a place to come play with open arms. We once had 50+ members online, a thriving discord channel, and the most relentless environment for maintaining alb relevance in RvR. We intend to bring all that back to Uthgard, starting today, June 3rd.

A summary of my original recruitment post still stands: (1) The guild is casual-competitive (between casual and elitist) (2) the guild is going to be BIG so you can log on and get insta-guild groups (3) Real life > DAoC and (4) the guild is what you make of it, if you want to farm all day, cool. If you want to be a top-10 player on the herald, let's do it.

There are a ton of formal Critical members we would love to hear from, and many who I have spoken to in the past week in preparation of our return who intend to join us again. ANY class is welcome... my philosophy is to group the best RvR player REGARDLESS of class. Play a pally, play a friar, I don't care. It's time to put Albion back on the map. We are starting from level 1, so if you are reading this and want to level up a new character with us, this is an opportunity to play Uthgard the way it was at launch. We are creating an enormous guild pool of people available to help you get 1-50, and then we will turn our attention to nonstop RvR.

Critical 2.0 is starting TODAY and I excitingly look forward to a resurgence in the alb population and the anatomy of alb RvR. PM me here or in game on Hectoor. I won't check this thread as regularly as I'll check my PMs, so please direct your commentary to my inbox.
