Hi all! Left DAoC somewhere around 2004... been hearing about this Uthgard project for awhile, finally downloaded it last night. Harsh realities of being a level 1 all over without /level aside, the nostalgia was awesome! Definitely looking to stick around, so i thought I'd introduce myself.

Started a Friar, on the off chance I find myself having to grind solo more often than not... but if The Realm is short on anything, I'd definitely be willing consider alternatives

Play what you enjoy, as the population settles people will have to "break the meta" so to speak and you might see Reavers/Friars/etc get more playtime.

Things like Sorcs/Mins/Clerics are always needed on some level or another, but really just go with what floats your boat and what sort of grind you can stand. Just note that traditional grouping has been rough lately, so a class that can fit into some sort of powerleveling setup or is an excellent solo grind class is one that will probably be easiest.

Hey TotalMojo. I was an officer in Eternal Circle(EC). My main was Lolann Beerwench, RR7+ Merc. To be honest your name didn't ring a bell at first. Anytime I see Mojo I think of Flojo's last name. I looked up TotalMojo and saw you were part of the DoUrden clan and that definitely rings a bell. Welcome to Uthgard! I've been playing here off and on since '09. The server is really fun. I started on Alb then switched to Mid. I play Mid since the reboot in January. From what I hear Alb can be real rough due to all of the PLing and lack of groups but hopefully it has improved. If its too rough over there and you find yourself struggling and want to try Mid give me a shout on one of my toons in my sig. Its good to see EC members popping up on Uthgard. I wish more of the core members of EC would start surfacing here. See you on the battlefield hopefully!

Lolann... Your name actually DOES sound familiar.

I actually migrated to DAoC originally from Asheron's Call with Flojo (then called LaBelle), and Dhark, and Sicov (Spydy) my "main" toon name was a tribute/jab at Flojo when she pointed out I had five toons at level 30 and no 50's... so i started my Air Theurg (Totalmojo).... it became my first 50. The name stuck with me, as did Dharkmojo (I rerolled that name a handful of times).

I did indeed group with the DoUrden's a lot! Ras, Kal, and Aarwen all stick as names in my memory.

I definitely considered trying Mid, but heard it was overpopulated here? Since I don't know anyone still playing... I fell back on the comfort zone of Albion (started a Friar).

I was part of Dhark's monarchy on Frostfell and followed Dhark, Flojo and Spydie to DAOC as well. Small world lol. And the story about your name actually rings a bell too. I will hit you up via PM.
