Thank you for posting that. Wasnt able to check 1.118+ atm.

Looks like they just shifted or replaced abilities here.
Those active abilities won't affect Stealth skill tests e.g. regarding detection range.

Detect Hidden and Assassinate abilities have been removed from the specialization.
-> Thats a good thing regarding testing since we dont have to think about how this will affect the tests for assasins vs. archers/Minstrel.

Mastery of Stealth is no longer a Realm ability option but has instead been added to the Stealth specialization in the form of the new Shadow Run ability.
-> Also a good thing, since we can track the effect of it by simply activating the new ability: Shadow Run on every level there is :D

Assassins have had the Heightened Awareness, Blood Rage, and Subtlety abilities removed.
-> Also a good thing to test basic Stealth skill vs. detection range!

Nah, mos affect detect range on archers :).
Assassin s and archers don't get same effects from mos. Archers will see an assassin easier than the assa will.

Sure, but since they changed it to be an active spell the assassin has to use to gain the detection range,
it makes it easier to test the "default" detection range based on player/mob level and stealth change 8)

pve: problem is not only stealth detection, but how mobs should react.

here:
mobs detect you and attack you while you are still stealthed.
i have had green mobs hitting me stealthed for 30sec and more, until they hit and uncover you. this is the case with all mobs.

but it should be like this:
mobs detect you and have a chance to uncover you. they don't move to you or aggro.
then they uncover you.
and after you're uncovered the aggro process is the same as always.
only the very very few mobs with stealth detection (drinkers in DF and few mobs in epic zones) aggro you before uncovering.

but i guess, this will be shown fast when the tests beginn. :D

LOL, NO they do NOT lose Agro if you restealth, on live yes, the stealth changes years ago made that happen but here NO. Mobs will ONLY deagro WHEN they lose interest.

50 comp stealth on my hunter, and I have had both an armsman and a bard run straight to me from clip range and attack me while stealthed, with camo up. Not sure if it is busted stealth, or hacking, or what but it is clearly something wrong.

Had the same happen to me with a necro in df. I had been stealthed for 5mins roaming df, and all of the sudden there is this necro with his pet running straight at me. :D

had the same issue over the last days, several players just run to me from a range even other stealther would not see me, and we talk about tanks and so.

something is kind of messed up. i dont beleieve people are cheating. there is just somthing wrong.

would be nice if non- stealther would post there experiances. i am sure they are wondering themself why they can see stealther from so far and so good.

This is why I stopped playing my inf.... i would constantly get seen by just a random skald running around....or other times it seemed to work correctly.

For instance, I ran up on top of 12+ hibs, literally they were on top of a hill and i was then on top of them. I stealthed and they couldn't find me even though they ran over top of me.

10 minutes later im sitting at AMG in emain and a group of mids decides to do a stealth sweep and detects me immediately running at max skald speed. Happens over and over. Not saying its just mids, but thats really who was pvping the most when I was playing.

There is a high chance to be uncovered by groups with alot of pets if they are searching for you while their pets are set to aggro. The pet owner himself won't even need to see you for a second, the pet got a stealth detection radius of 125 units and will attack you instantly. This could be even worse than running into reavers pbae aura, since you won't have the chance to resist the spell or pass him between the ticks. You could just place your aggro pet in mid of a Mile Gate door, it would cover 250 units so no stealther would manage to pass it without being uncovered... i doubt this is live-like behaviour.
