My experience with 8v8 on Alb is that unless its a scrub pug fighting a scrub pug, there aren't many setups that work well aside from pets and the caster debuff train.

It is what it is. Game wasn't designed and balanced as an instanced 8v8 arena combat game and each realm has their differences. You work with what you got. Mids get to faceroll with a melee train, Hibs get all sorts of fun tools and their crazy ass bards, and Albion needs to bring a whole ****** zoo with them to every fight.

Yeah, people initially picked Mid for a CHALLENGE! Or maybe they thought they could just run over noobs with push groups forever.

I told everyone months before beta that Alb and Hib casters would ****** on braindead tank groups once they get past RR5. An RR8 Zerker is not *that* much better than an RR3 one who just has Det5. But RR8 casters? GG.

Even still, Noradd says we are the only group he has a problem with, Alb or Hib. So how does Captain Keyturn Riyu justify this? Obviously it means the other Albs and Hibs are total garbage players, and the Alb group that beats him must be abusing the game. We are the only group on Albion with pets!

Our group is a hard counter for tank groups who most of the time don't even have a Warrior, with exceptional players who really know what they're doing.

Wow so self centered. Don't be so introvert with your herd here. I never said that you are bad players or abuse anything, that's what you've turned it into and reflected upon yourself as a small-minded individual. I merely said that pets are doing half your work towards a win.

And, I'd really reconsider the universe if I'd be in your shoes and would not be able to beat anything as a setupgrp like yours on the timezone that you play, were you only encounter either uncoordinated pugs or half/half groups.

It's amazing how after so many years people get so butthurt about their pride/honor being attacked if you comment their gameplay.

I think any reasonable adult can see you are just engaging in thinly veiled ****** talking. Keep going though, it's certainly amusing to read retard RvR drama.

Pets doing half the work would mean 3 of us are auto-attacking along with the 3 pets and the other 5 are AFK...so yeah.

Have you guys considered using a style other than Doublefrost and Wild Call, or actually having a peel tank? Protip: Playfull's tanker group uses PF+snare style (snow shower?) repeatedly on my pet if it's a red one. This means I have to release it, wait forever, recharm it, and it has no immunity. Then they snare it again. This is super frustrating and distracting for a Minstrel. Mids have THE BEST most broken OP snare in the game to do this with, yet those Hibs are way more bothersome than you guys. This is just one example of better play that can be utilized, future tips will cost $25 each.

Yep, might be very well true. I don't disagree that there might be just a handful of decent tanks on Midgard and the other 99% are just front-orks.

There are maybe only 2 warriors that are 'decent' on Midgard and maybe one or two BD's.

In summary, yes our pets are a big part of our setup, yes SoS + BoF is really strong.

As a mid sos and bof seems to only help the Buds, not as much for other albs

I recently got fully temped on my BM and after a week or so of RvRing my experience has been great. A ton of action, pugs always looking to fill positions.

I am approaching 3L0 and overall the endgame RvR is exactly what I signs up for.
