Hi!
I'm an old experimenced player but I'm now a casual player. I'll have a couple of hours 2 times a week to play. My question is not about paper daoc (in fact I know Midgard with core skill on 3 char help to make great pug) But I want to know on Uthgard, there is a realm that is more easy to make pug? I play on NA Time so it's can make a difference too... I can play everything so it's not a problem for me, but I'll probably go for a char that is easy to group in pve and rvr (bard, chanter, caby, arsman, skald, healer) Thank you ![]() |

Mid is the most pug friendly realm, easiest to play and easiest to build groups for. It is a well known fact, and one of the many reasons why its overpopulated forever. Have fun.
Hib - Falken (BM) / Sneakster (NS) / Kalfen (Enchanter) - Currently Inactive
Alb - Djfalken (Minstrel) - Inactive Mid - Tooeasynothanks |

Easiest for pug is midgard while worst is alb I hear...meanwhile I sit in Hib, where it is sometimes good sometimes not, as it has always been

Even on Uthgard? I mean, I don't want to make a char 50 and wait on keep 'cause there is only fix group and nothing else...
My question was about Uthgard... Even if albion or hibernia is more harder to make good pug, maybe there are somes guilds here on a certain realm that alway make good pug. Long time ago, I was in an alliance of competitives guilds that make great pug who fight well even agains fix groups... ![]() |

Would consider anything but midgard. Since its easy to pug in midgard, maybe you want to choose another realm only for the reason, that you meet enemy pugs instead of fixed groups more often?

You make a good point, but I don't care fighting fixed group if I have a solid pug. I played Daoc this way all of the times.. ![]() So you think there are more fixed group on Albion and Hibernia? |
|
Im not quite Rvr ready yet. but from the sounds of it all realms have quite some fixed groups. Only saying its easier to build a pug in mid, since the needed classes are played alot and its a bit easier to pug a melee group instead of a caster group.
For real rvr advice someone else has to respond ![]() |

mid / hib easy to pug. ( in class view )To build viable setup
alb hardcore mode in class view. Depending your classe, you'll never be grouped, for good reasons ( no real utility, or can be easily replaced). The good think in the live server, is that almost all classe can be grouped and are interessting. |

I love pvp and rvr, I love playing every role. So the class is not a trouble for me. You won't see me playing necro or thane (sorry for the guys loving theses class ![]() As I said in the original post, I'll play bard, healer or something that group easily... But I don't want to waste long time xp (specially with a support) a char and to be stuck at Keep waiting for a group on a realm that everyone play only in fixed group... ![]() |

The answer to the Title of this thread is Midgard.
Positivity - 4x Ranger
Paenon - 50 Friar (sleeping because it's non-Meta) Simi - 50 Necro (ditto, farmbot) |

pug situation gets worse day by day on midgard. go some other realm or better play another game.
time is better invested in anything else than getting fed up with that every day. |
|
If you think it'd bad on Midgard come try Albion. You'll hang yourself by the end of your play session. |
|
it's clever. But this subject had to be considerated by GM's. You can't just build a classic server, whitout keeping in mind that by this classical version you'll get 30% of the class in the cabinet. It's idiot. Some classe couldn't be played in pvp situation as necro, but with some minor change other can. ( grant access to determination to all hybrid p.ex.) PS: Sorry for my pitifull english ![]() |
