X-Zone Kill Spam Removal, and other bad ideas..

There were a few great concepts that had rvr action constantly thriving, ebbing and flowing, surging, fading, then being fired up again constantly.
This was the X-Zone kill spam.
Now its been removed, i feel that this will now drive groups to selfishly hoarding any 'inc' they find rather than being able to follow the current and enemies in other zones, and therefore being able to maintain constant rvr'ing.

Was this a thought out removal, or a knee jerk because of it not being one of the 1.65 elements.

I personally also feel this was as mistaken as removing the 15min DF timer, which had great action flooding through df once/twice/thrice an evening.

What other penalties can be imposed on the rvr community?

unless you can 'tap' a camping assassin, hiding in a gate and feeding you with reports, what are the options ?
run through a full zone, to find it empty, relying on sparcely shared enemy info to find an inc.

To me it seems futile. A petulant stomping out of a perk.

Tell me, what next? I maybe totally wrong...

Next step will be a suspension if you kill an enemy in rvr.

Yeah going to miss that, made finding fights much easier.

Wouldn't be classic if it wasn't tedious and inconvenient? :roll:

A wonderful top-priority fix :roll: - front page full of people discussing lack of action & potential solutions, & they go & pull this, for what reason? It's hard enough finding action.

The only possible thing I can think of here is that maybe it'll force groups into tag keeps & stir up action? Still an awful change, & for what reason?

I don't particularly like the QQ theme of my post.

I'd rather just lurk and not comment on anything other than how great uth2 is.

But this brought me out of the woodwork.

I hope they haven't got any more murky ideas

This was not our "murky idea", it was simply a fix regarding our patch target.

Sorry you confuse me. How did you see where people were with the x-realm message? It did not include any location information. The only benefit of the message was that you saw that there is action SOMEWHERE.

We don't fix issues to get you upset and beside feeling activity in the RvR zones the global message had not much purpose without any loc information. Now you at least know that the action you see is in your zone.

I know this thread is already locked but I could not leave that uncommented.
