Skald choices and questions.

we Said 50 bs 39 hammer 18 parry = Solo spec and trust me its the best one so far all other spec its for group

why ? : last DD/ Resists if you know Twist for sure / if you know twist healsong/damage add every 8 sec you win some Hp in fight / same with Resist Cold Red /body for prevent NS/mez

parry = sustain = time = more DD /hp

and remember we speak about Solo Gameplay 2017 in 2002 people dont twist > full Damage yolo all in now Sustain win so far

Could you elaborate on what points a wrong? I just rolled a skald.. lvl 7 ATM and just want to figure out what to expect and spec at higher lvls

More weaponskill helps with defence = parry = sustain through mezz immunity = remezz = reload.

You can only dd so many times thorugh mezz immunity. Health regeneration regens at half during combat.

sorry for elaboratate i learn english i will try to explain my opinion

im have a solo skald temp (full masterpiece ) exept torso troll 10 str 10con 10 cha
cap all resist /stats with good /use (buff str/con // dex/qui // debuff dex/qui / DD charge 10/10 )
its a must have for solo
why 50 bs 39 hammer 18 parry
cauz i dont have a fixed team and when my pug is not online i solo or duo and yes i play a solo spec in full group but who care ?
i do the same job i play mostly 1 handed for rupt /peel ... Sometime we dont play aug healer so in fight i switch Aug resists every 8 sec so this spec help alot and vs other group you can said me " parry and dext suxx in 8v8 " you are true but you have no idea how many time this parry amount save me in engage when the enemy armsman /bm/protector miss 3 stun for stun me trust me we win a good advantage , im just a random solo player and i play in group with a full solo spec and that worth
only depend how your play your skald

i use : purge > first aid 2> ip >aom 3>lw2 > dex 2> pain 1 atm i will go pain 3 >str3 > moa 3


if you play every time in 8v8 in fact with skald you dont care about spec they are all good but hammer for chain Snare , sword/axe you win more Dps yeah i know but who care about Skald Damage ? your only job its : 1 DD on every caster /healer and backsnare /sidesnare Tank when you got time not more ...

so yeah you can play every spec with skald if you know your character

Have anyone tried both specs (46BS/44Weap and 50BS/39Weap) that could tell me which one they liked more for solo PvP?

I understand Target's logic,

50 chants you do get all of the resists, the last DD, and heal song.

The Delve however for the last DD is only 14 pts higher, and the heal song is 8 pts more.

So for much lower weapon (Hammer or Sword) you only get marginally better value for your chants.

I prefer 44 hammer, 46 chants, 17 parry. Good cookie cutter spec that gets you red DDs, red dmg add, yellow heal song, good weapon skill, (I have 1600 when buffed) and decent parry.

If you like to solo, small man, and 8v8, that is the spec I prefer.

Right, the last DD is lvl 50, but at 43 and 44 you have red DDs, that delve for 111 and 114.

The age old Skald discussion. :)

Usually boils down to 50 or 46 BS.

50 BS:
+10 Heat, Cold, Matter resists songs
+8 Heal song
+14 DD (lvl 50 instead of 44 considering resists)
46 BS:
More weapon skill (Not sure how much)
Back snare dmg follow up (That breaks the snare but has good growth rate)

I'm more intrigued by 44BS, 44Hammer, 21Parry at higher realm ranks.
44BS for last +20 Body resist song and 44DD.
Reason being that the 46 Dmg song only delve 2 more than the 35 one..
