ForumTrojan8 warning on installation

I have just tried to download the client and my security software are given me warnings about the download. It reports a Trojan virus trying to get on my computer which is attached to your client. Sorry, but I will not be joining the server and I think players need to know about this!
The reported virus is a Trojan.Gen.8!cloud |

This is a false positive and we are aware of it.

What the heck is a "false positive" and just stating that you are aware of it does not fill me with confidence?

It means that it is being flagged by antivirus but is safe. Basically because we are modifying the client and changing files it is being flagged by antivirus, but these changes are necessary to launch the client for us.
