Hey guys

I'm playing DAoC on my laptop from the holidays. There i have the Problem that everytime i move the mousecursor, there is a big FPS drop.
We already found out, that the problem is solved if i set the mousetrail on "short". But then the ingame mouse cursor disappears and i still cant Play cause of this.
If i delete the cross on the mousetrail item again, the lags will appear againg but i have a mousecursor.
-> in other games, the mouse cursor doesnt disappear while the mousetrail is set on short.

Edit: it actually doesnt matter if the mousetrail is set on short or long. If the cross is set on "Show mousetrail", the ingame mouse cursor disappears.

Would be glad if someone could help me.

I can only tell you that this is an issue that has occurred for a long time in DAoC.

The solution may depend on your mouse, operating system or drivers.

The best I can advice I can give you is to google daoc mouse issue and try out various solutions.

Have you tried to play in windowed mode?
