Two Computers, two Problems ......

1.) It worked yesterday without any Problems. Today if i want to start the game there's an error message:
Could not check for launcher updates. Der Remotname konnte nicht aufgelöst werden: launcher.uthgard.omg
-> as is said, it worked yesterady

2.) On my Laptop i tried to install it too; thers another error:
The Programm can not be started, cause vcruntime140.dll is missing on your comüuter. Please install the Programm.
-> so i googled the Programm, its in the ciasual c++ etc. which is written in the download the launcher description. BUT i installed id. i alreday deinstalled it and reinstalled it but it still doesnt work.

hat sich noch nirgends jemand vom staff gemeldet, vermute mal die wissen nich woran es liegt aber ein wir wissens nich oder sind drann wäre ganz nett.
alternativ könnte man die .ORG wieder verfügabr machen und testet nächstesmal besser.

Try hitting cancel, happens for a lot of people today it seems.

Wrong vc runtime version (needs 32 bits i believe, your laptop is windows 8 64 last time we chat)

bin nun drinn nach 15 std rumdoktern...
falls systemseitig nix geändert wurde war es die aktivierung dex proxy....
traurig das der comm das nicht mitgeteilt wird falls dem so sein muss neuerdings.

Yeah I am having the same issue. I hit cancel and it loads eventually.

Hitting cancel doesnt work at all.

I'll try to find a 64 bit Version later. Hope it works.
-> ok, downloading the x64 Version doesnt work. but if i deleted it and then ONLY downloaded the x86 Version and installed it, it seems to work

Just curious if there's some release meeting on items that affect the fundamental ability for peeps to log in or not.

After spending 2+ hours trying to figure out why I can't log in after I've changed nothing, it starts to smell like admin isn't releasing in a suitable way.

I'm not an IT moron (only 15 years in mission-critical IT), and if the suggested solution isn't more than: "Monty Carlo around until it works" and you have no way to capture the number of peeps affected and frustrated to decide roll-back... the words start to falter around here...

I am able to login to the account now, but I'm not sure what has changed... mysterious.

Obviously I'm glad to be able to log in, but frustrated that I missed an opportunity to play yesterday.

Hope it works out in the end.

Presumably the whole login process enhancement is undertaken to prevent cheaters or something, otherwise it would be wasted effort -- I trust that there is a reason and that it will be worth it.
