This Thread is outdated. So I will just give some links to the current dragon raid here.

Well, will this help in bringing Albion closer together or rather increase the split in the realm? For me it looks like a lot of players are simply ruled out by the given group design. :(

Just take a look at my characters list: My mercenary only fits into the level 45+ level group, where he would leech XP that he doesn't need anymore. My other characters are all too low and it will probably take ages before they fit somewhere into your group design. I guess several people might be in the same situation...

On the other hand, as far as I'm concerned, it actually doesn't mean much to me because (at least for the summer) I won't be wasting my time in front of the PC on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. :P
Happy hunting!

i agree with T-man... maybe you wanna make perfect group, but it's not really friendly for the albion community. maybe better to manage an albion raid dragon with everybody who wanna join.

and the way you wanna set the loot distribution looks strange... i don't really anderstand what you wanna do if 2 peoples want the same item... is it TC that will choose?

If more than one ppl wants an item they will be distributed via /random 100. But the winner will have to wait for another item until everyone has one. We chose the number of 16 ppl because the dragon does not drops that much usefull items. If you take for example 30 characters we have to farm forever till everyone gets an item and half of them will be ****** that they have to wait so long and dont get anything. And to be honest, the last times we did the dragon most of us were disappointed that they didnt even get something. So we want to prevent that.

I'd like too either, even if it's an optimised group. But I feel my minstrel will be rejected, don't know why...

so far i did 3 legion raids and got nothing

i don't do such things for the rewards, if i get something usefull i'm glad, if things seem to be more important for others, they can have it

is see those raids as a new challenge and a way to learn from better players and grow into my char

and it beats killing mobs over and over again

a drop list would be great so everyone could point what he wants if it should be dropped, so if a player helps to kill golestand and nothing usefull gets dropped, he won't try to get his hands on something else just because he doesn't want to go home empty handed... if his item gets dropped on another occasion he should get it or get a chance to roll dices for it...

that is if you want to get perfect grps and kill the dragon on regular bases.

just my 2 cents

i'd like to join with my 50 merc, np if i don't get any drop i just want to beat Golestadt.

BTW there should be some strats at first, as far as i read it isn't just "tanking and healing"

It's back online, the albion dragon raid. We tried it yesterday (first raid) and it worked out really nice. So, we have decided to have the dragon raids as a regular event in Albion.

Anyone interested, please look here .

There you will find all information you need to participate. I have posted all important things and news in german and english, so there should be no language problem.

Hope to cu at the next raid.

Greetz,

Hello raid community. We've had a vote last week. Here is the result:

Starting with the next raid the rule where to be for the raid is:

At dartmoor entrance 19:45h, or at lair 20:00h.

For more information, please see the raid forum.

Official Update:

Due to the Dartmoor Updates it is more or less impossible for many chars to reach the lair alone or in a small grp. So, from now on the new rule is:

Meeting-time for dragonraid is on friday and monday at 20:00h. Place: Dartmoor entrance OR the lair.

The stick-carawan will leave at 20:00h from DM entrance - anyone not being there has to make it on his own to the lair or miss the raid.

CU all there,
Kronos

I'd love to go once I hit 40 in 3 bubbles, but there is no way I can do mondays or fridays (I'm on North America time and must be at work). Oh well, good luck!
