We had to reconfigure some webserver stuff which broke the DNS record of *.uthgard.org. This leads to several issues where people cannot connect to the game server and/or website. In order to get you into the game, here's some troubleshooting:

Problem accessing our website
Try this url instead: https://www2.uthgard.net/

Launcher error: could not check for launcher updates
Download the updated launcher from the account section and re-install.

Cannot log in using Facebook accounts
If you are getting a message like this



try deleting all your browser cache, stored logins etc. or try with an alternative browser to make sure it is not a browser-related problem. If that doesn't help, you need to show facebook that it's really you. You can do this by changing your facebook account's password, or use the i-forgot-my-password function. Apparently facebook needs you to confirm that you are now requesting the login from uthgard.net instead of uthgard.org. (See player comments below)

The connection between website and gameserver is currently interrupted. This is also a problem for initiating realm transfers. We will work on this right after everyone is able to log in with their existing accounts. For now the only thing you can do is wait. Sorry!

When trying to log into REAL ID account, it is asking me to confirm the rules at the bottom of the page. I cannot click the box to confirm and am stuck on that page.

Microsoft & Google logins should work.

Some problems still with facebook. If you can login with facebook please report back.

I have a friend that hasn't been playing long but she has a 12 Cleric, today she logs in and it logs her in fine but the play button does not appear for her on the website. I even tried to help her on my PC but it won't log on for me either. Whats wrong on her end? It logs her in on the site just fine, but no play button any longer.

work around seems to work but it appears people that do not already have accounts can not create one. This seems like a serious problem if the goal is to expand player base.

SOLVED : I got the initial Nayru problem to connect with facebook , I followed the link when I manage account , re-entered my email , changed my password and then I could be OK to reconnect again.

I dont have any computer skill but it worked. ( look like auto-login via fb need refresh, that time )

verified I did this a few minutes ago before seeing this post and THAT works, just reset email password on the acct but my difference I logged in using Microsoft instead of Facebook.

none of the above solutions work for me. I don't use FB so that is a non issue. None of the links above are reachable or take to long to respond.

I can't download a new launcher since the site can't be reached.

So I logged on Uthgard website. I had to resign in via Manage Accounts with my google ID. It had me re-agree to the ToS and I hit ok. Now I can log into the game, but my previous characters are all gone. I go to account chooser and it only gives me the option of Account 1 (Empty Characters).

I've signed out and cleared my browser cache repeatedly. Signed back in through manage accounts with the same google account and each time there's no link to my original account. Just Account 1 (Empty Characters). Is there a fix to this that I'm not seeing?

You used the wrong account then. It created a new one. Write me a PM with name of your chars.
