I'm having all of the issues everyone else is having. Flushing the DNS did nothing. I have Comcast in Alabama. I'm able to hotspot off my phone and load the main page/login fine. Guess I will play on that until things are worked out.

I called a friend that lives 7 miles from me using a different ISP and they have no issues

Hmm... I can connect to Uthgard-org with my phone on wifi, but not with the computer... (Telus in Canada)

Still getting:

This site can’t be reached

uthgard-org’s server DNS address could not be found.
Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

OK

What worked for me was:

1. FLush DNS, fail, can't log-in - restart.

2. Use google public DNS on IP4 and IP6 both.
Try to log-in and fail... RESTART

3. Delete and use normal DNS again

4. works!

I believe something similar happened when we changed hardware.

Some people could flush dns to fix.
Some had to restart their computer as well.
Some had to restart their modem/router as well.

For a few people none of these worked but the DNS cache should get fixed over time as Blue mentioned and then you'll be able to get in.

Restarted COMCAST
Restarted Computer

No luck. Guess it's just a lot of us waiting.

This is a free game and I'm thankful for the volunteer effort to make it so - but it baffles me that I've never seen this in:

Fail Genesis
Shadowbane x2 EMUs
Any WoW emu

Any live mmorpg

....is there something different about Uthgard that I could pre-empt for? Such as changing something in my hardware or perhaps trying to learn how to change my DNS without somehow screwing my system up for other things?

Solved it for me too. But i didnt changed the dns on ip4 and/or ip6 on my internet connection. Changed the ip4 dns on my fritzbox, renewd my connection, faild. Removed the public dns, renewed my connection, worked just fine.

Heh, been unable to log in for a while now BUT I'm feeling good about it cuz when Blue drops by to say "the problems will be solved in some hours" you know it will be.

I wish I had a GM like Blue to solve all of my life's issues and problems! Seriously, he's awesome :).
