Corpse Summoners?

Thread subject says it all, are they in the game? Is this something that is part of the custom patch?

For those of you who are not aware what they are, Corpse Summoners were one of the reasons you didn't let enemy realms get level 10 keeps in your frontier. WHen a keep hits level 10 they get a corpse summoner, that you can release to if you die in the frontier. They were awesome for RP's if you were a ressurection class.

I am not sure if they haven't patched it out at some point. The mechanic was great and shifted the rvr action a lot. I remember a time main rvr was around castle sauvage because of this. Was good fun.
Hope GMs are fine with what they have stated, that they are fine with just 80 people (300ppl was Trishin Statement long time ago) playing the game under their vision.
Its important to leave this server running doesn't matter how low the numbers will be. The other servers can fail but Uthgard still will be there, thats Uthgards only chance.

Edit 19/09/21: Well Uthgards chance has come.

Great! really good mechanic makes realm war way more dynamic.

Are the 1.60 changes on board too? I think they are difficult to implement.

CORPSE SUMMONER CHANGES

Corpse Summoners are intended to help retrieve relics - some players are using corpse summoners to camp out in keeps and simply defend it, gaining Realm Points all the time. This had led to a situation where some Realms actively do not want their Relics. We're making two changes in this version to incent Realms to want to keep their Relics and to not over-use their Corpse Summoners.

1. Characters who are defending their home frontier against invaders with a corpse summoner in their realm will now receive a 15% RP bonus for each enemy relic they currently control (Up to a 60% total bonus) to recognize the added difficulty of defense in this situation and as an additional relic reward.

2. Characters now will not earn Realm Points in the 30 minutes following a resurrection at a corpse summoner.

Yeah, 5 minutes is more than enough.

You really have to wonder who the hell are up with these decisions.

Moemnetary/XP rewards for RvR are already fairly low as it is at this patch level then somebody gets all giddy with a half hour RP timer?

Mechanics of this game definitely show their age compared to modern games.

Any level 10 keep in an enemy realm that has relics should spawn a corpse summoner. Bled/Beno/DC dont get one.
