Hey guys,
My roommate used to play DAoC too like 15 years ago. Due to me playing, she learned abou Uthgard and would like to play aswell. I am playing on mid and she would like to play on Mid too. The thing is that we share one pc with 2 windows users, so can't play simultaneously, but obviously use two different master accounts. Is that okay ? Can we play 2 master accounts on the same realm, same IP and same pc ? Don't want to get into trouble ! Cheers |

It's perfectly OK to share an IP (and in fact a PC) as long as both accounts play the same realm. That's to prevent cross realming. Since you share one PC, you won't both be logged in at the same time so there's no risk of buff botting or dual logging.

Thanks for the answer! Seems logical like that, yeah.

What if this situation were to occur in a similar fashion, with the two accounts being on separate realms? We would never log them in at the same time.
The situation currently is that one of my roommates (I have 3) is deployed in Iraq, and wishes to play when he gets back to the states. I am currently playing Hib, and he dislikes Hib. I have no idea of the intentions of the other two roommates, though they have played DAoC before, they aren't showing much interest now. If need be I guess I could switch realms or convince him to play Hib if there is no way for this to take place. |

You and youre roommates would still have to play the same realm.
