Hiya's!
I began at DAOC launch as a Hibbeh on Iseult then rolled to Kay/Midgard where I had a RR10 Healer. During Uth 2.0 beta I played as an Alb. Have been playing as a healer again since Uth 2 launch - just got level 45, bought a house etc and thought *meh* why the hell am I playing the same char again? So on a complete whim I literally just deleted my chars 2 mins ago so I can start over in Hib. I think it's time I played something that does the killing instead of the support (playing support really is about control ya know). I played ranger and warden at launch so this time I am going to play either a BM or Hero. I will try both out and see how I like them. I see you are kinda low on tanks anyway. Anyway, I'm an Aussie and as I am working from home (part-time) I will be on at all different times while I level so feel free to say hi. |

Welcome (back) to Hib!
Both BMs and Heroes are a lot of fun and you're right that Hib needs tanks. My main is a nightshade but I just rolled a little Luri Hero to help out in the tank department. Sword of the Dragon is always looking to add new members so feel free to message anyone online if you ever get tired of the starter guild. ~Spinoza Spinoza - Nightshade

You can find Aussies like you here: viewtopic.php?f=62&t=40912 Good job rolling a tank, if you need a help to start let me know. Or just ask around, most people is pretty nice here, its a realm of freaks but they are pretty nice. |

Welcome!
Been running my lowbie tank and been finding groups pretty well. Just make sure to use LFG tool and grab up solos. My hero just hit 13 and really hasn't been to bad lvling him up just yet. Hope you enjoy! <Blood Feud>

My friends and I have been on Hib since launch. I have not spent more than 30 minutes not in a group when I am looking for one. Granted, I am a Mana Mentalist. I either use the LFG, hit up my Alliance chat/Guild or I /who <Level> and message for a group. You will always find something if you put a small amount of effort in.
If you go for a class that is often sought out for, on a few occasions, I have gotten invites right upon logging in. Just my experience. Uthgard 2.0 Caten - Hibernia Mentalist

Thanks guys! I have been enjoying Hib very much =) My hero is at 19 with 300 AC but I was finding it hard to gear up even a bit so I have made a solo chanter for a bit of farming/trinketing and she is now at 20 with 400 tailoring- I have always liked to be self sufficent and I suck at asking for help/gear. Smart Scythe from badgers and Smouldering Hauberks off the Gales in Cliffs are such excellent low level loot for trinketing I think its time I start writing some guides - I have a space for Uthgard on my webpage =)
Everyone has been awesome and friendly and really no problem getting groups with my tanky tank. Gotta say - epics on Mid are super easy compared to the Hibby ones. And I had forgotten about Glare in Caille - omg I hate that biatch =) |
