Been creating several characters for the past few days and im seeing quite a few amounts of buffbots or general bots farming XP with alts I must assume..

Its tough since me and my brother are trying to play together on the same IP and we actually play not together since not the same level but still can be thought to be BB since of the IP and get ban for it, will other do it on purpose in front of anyone's eyes.
We report, and we hope reports are being seen.

Just because it looks like buffbot behavior to you, doesn't mean there isn't a separate player behind each character. You're doing the right thing to report them and let the GM's determine if it's botting.

Oh, and before you waste the GMs time, do a /send to the suspected bot. If you get an answer there is PROBABLY a player there.

True and I agree, only reporting though when I actually see a potential bot behavior, i.e. when the lead actually runs and stops, sits and 2seconds later the bots sits aswell. Same for standing up, I mean I guess sometimes I'm more on the glass half empty side of things about that but, you can clearly see one being botted and one isn't.

In all truth, I don't mind most of the time but still its bannable and its dumb to get caught for that.. :D

id consider it more proof of botting when a stuck character casts without ever being unstuck... this isnt conclusive because i've stuck and cast before on support characters, but it does make me look twice. If someone enters combat and the "stuckee" doesnt move away from the melee, then that looks suspicious.

I only ever play this game as a duo with my wife and we got accused of botting yesterday by some lowbie because she as a healer was stuck to my savage as we returned from a quest. Yes sticking can be an indicator but seriously, all these false accusations do is waste everyones time, so i say think before you speak.

TBH i think a lot of these BBs have come from live where it is allowed, because anyone who knows Uthgard knows you can't use bots.

Aight; I don't think, for my part, that I would be that dumb to report anyone that I see for just a few seconds of observation of potential BB. Its not like I run around places looking for them, but when I farm a spot for a hours and this duo comes along and act that way, yeah I throw those accusations out.

I play with my brother and I main'ed a cleric so I understand your point. But since I play some of the time during off-peak hours, I see some around, thats all there is to it.
