While I agree with the solo pride part.. I mean, we're all rolling our 40th alts over our daoc careers. Who hasn't by now been apart of an 8 man set group and got a high RR character from it. I respect it.. but that's a bit too mainstream for my tastes 10+ years into the game. Show me your High Solo Kill count to really impress me these days I cringe though when I see an avid solo'er asking the masses to accommodate his preferred playstyle when there are options available to him ..what you're asking is for people to make it easy for you, which in my opinion takes away from the challenge and ultimately the prestige that comes with the solo life. Learn to solo away from high traffic areas or be doomed to a long life of /rel and rage. Good luck to ya...@OP

By "wrongly", I meant they're trying to play the game like a FPS, which it isn't. You can play solo or grouped or zerged or whatever and not fit into the category of people who want to pretend that MMOs are FPSs.

I would quite like to respect everyone's preferences - after people have different aims whether that be zerg, an 8 or solo.

The problem is unless everyone plays by the same rules asking for considerations like this becomes a bit futile.

Given some of the preferences can be incompatable (such as 1V1 vs I kill all) and given I do not know if those fighting want a certain format (I.e do they want my help or not) then we are never going to all agree.

Best a 1v1 can do if they want solo action is find a nice quiet 'fight club' place and hope no one else stumbles across it.

fight clubs are the worst, 1vs1 or 1vs2 should be random encounters not a spot where you can farm rps where butthurt people come back to add because they lost and then other thinks they should play police to enforce some duel standards if I want that I can play on ywain

For me - as a casual player - it´s not important, from where the RPs come...

If i can kill one: it´s fine!
If i can kill two at the same time: it´s better!

Only thing what I respect is 8v8 if I know one grp and they friends... otherwise red = dead
