I have to wonder sometimes. In a group XP is shared between group members. You are a duo => then each player gets 50%. You are a trio => then each player gets 33%. And so on.

How are we supposed to get proof? Do we go to the old archived patch notes?

Is there even anyway to get proof? Just out of curiosity, why does the burden of proof fall on the user, when the devs are the one's making the changes. Shouldn't it be the other way around? (Devs find proof before making changes)

The closest i've seen to proof is animist pets not hitting keep doors. If fnf pets take xp, then they should also hit keep doors like every other pet.

And this :

From v 1.57 notes, wouldnt they also decrease xp taken by fnf turrets if xp was leeched?

You should at least try

First thing here is to assume that it never changed to the worse on live. So go and check how it works on live servers (trial accounts are free) at the moment. In a next step check patch notes if there was a change to it down to 1.65. If not go on with live results.

You can assume that we do all the steps mentioned before we implement anything on Uthgard. A player who thinks we are wrong has to present evidence of what is wrong. We can present you what our tests show but you can check that for yourself too.

It still matches what can be observed on live servers up to this day.

Well easy, I suppose all shrooms were handled equal at one point, then they lessened the controlled shrooms to 25% like any other pet class. This can also be observed on todays live servers. Its still the same.

Is it possible the wrong percentage was used when implementing the code? Believe me, we don't enjoy sitting here ****** on a forum about a game we play for free.


The only example i can remember off the top of my head. Last night was grouped with an animists, 45 & 46, killing yellow conned mobs. We were getting 2 million each per kill.

Rigid. Its correct as it is right now. Please check what your numbers are today. Your mentioned scenario would yield anywhere between 3-5mio XP in a duo if all damage would be made by F&F turrets depending on how high the yellows are.

I'm pretty sure we all recognize the terrible xp from way back then on our animists and would all roll tank groups to pl our chars on live. Good to see it's "correct as it is" now.

yes fnf shrooms always stole xp....yes theurg pets always stole xp.

this doesnt change the fact the xp values are incorrect and that the leech xp is still broken.

also what is the logical thing to do to accommodate a large population of players? would you increase spawn rates? would you increase camp sizes? would you increase camp spots? nope. uthgard does the exact opposite. they nerf the spawn rates ...lol!

You know where the issue tracker is. If you find any bugs in the current implementation create a bug report.

Well spent 3 hours in Siabra City today and the respawn is in no way livelike, its way too slow and makes the whole spot almost obsolete. Obviously I have no proof to back this up, since its been 14 years and I didnt do any videos back then. But when SI came out I levelled a Valawalker there who reached 50 after 20hrs played. With the current respawn thats not possible, not even close.

I know you want proof for changes, but since I hardly believe there will be any proof either way (neither for nor against fast respawn) just ask yourself what makes sense. SC was the prime PL spot in Hibernia on live and the way it is now, it just doesnt work anymore, so logically it must have been different on live.

The whole spot is on default respawn settings. Thats why it falls under the recent changes which affect every mob thats not set otherwise. Proper setting up camps is a huge worldbuild task GM's do. If you think the Siabra spot is not correct as it is, it must be investigated and adjusted to what it should be. But don't expect to reach level 50 in 20 hours on Uthgard.

BTW, if people want to show Siabra city hunting as it is on live, I will gladly make this area my focus until it is corrected. I can tell you now just looking at it, that area needs help.

Well thats how it was on live and you needed one Lvl 50 dmg dealer grouped in a two-man party to get there that fast. That wasnt the norm for regular players and certainly wont be for most players on Uthgard, but it was possible under ideal circumstances.

Maybe not everybody likes it, but it was a huge part of the levelling experience on live and certainly a welcome alternative to 40+ XP. The last weeks felt very livelike in Bog and looking at the player count (over 150+ people at prime) it was well received.
So I dont know what you are willing to change, but something needs to change otherwise that spot is dead. On live respawns was way faster.

Tbh even over all exp is bugged like hell. I mean in the old days a middel to high lvl orange con m0b would give cap, atm is you need to solo a red to get cap. At 50 to get cap exp you have so solo a lvl 65 m0b. I mean a full group lvl 50 aren't even close to get cap exp on a Hulk from df and thats even with 4 m0bs group bonus and max camp bonus.

Nope, it isn't. Orange mobs also give cap xp on Uth if you encounter them solo without pet. It just depends.
