It seems there has been a misunderstanding then. One of the posters above made it sound rather drastic. Possibly also related to the xp bug that was experienced.

It's drastic, the experience is horrid. The GM's should roll the change back until the problem is identified. In this instance, its not really fair.

Would you mind to explain more what you experienced? Which setup, classes, pets, targets used?

The mentioned problem above is identified now. Affected situation was when pets died/expired taking all xp with them into death.

Blue whats with how a solo animist/caster whatever even healer, can get loot and $$$ from BG? I was healing with my bard while looking for grp and was getting the loot. Solo Animist can take loot from entire BG consistently? Is this a bug on how its earned? Whats stop solo'er from following Galadoria raid or dragon and doing dmg to steal loot?

Its called aggro, whoever has aggro when the mob dies gets the loot. This is how it worked in live, I used to solo take legion loot with a cave shaman due to this this (not maliciously).

shrooms are still messing with leech xp.

To other commenters above I can say, Animist pets take ofcourse a share of XP like any other pet class. It never was different.


You´re right, Pets should leech XP, but
1. Only the XP from the caster, not from the whole group,
2. Main-shroom is a pet, FnF-Shrooms are definetly no pets.

The point of need to be cleared is: are Animist fnf-shrooms pets?
They have a short lifespan
They are not controllable
They cannot attack keepdoors

The first 2 points are clear, but whats up with my last point?
Well, in Patch-Notes around 1.40 was written, Pets are be able to attack keepdoors. FnF could never attack keepdoors, ofc because of balancing
(it mean not to favor, overpowering or nerf and destroy a realm or a class, because of patch-point or human decisions).

On the other side, ofc staff can make a decision, fnf shrooms are now Pets, okay.

Then is Hib the Numer 1 Keepraid realm. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
Never was fnf shrooms to be able to attack keepdoors.
Ani´s would be OP and Hib have a massive advantage over the other 2 realms

How many real pet classes can summon more than a single pet? How many real pet classes have no control over a pet? How many real pet classes have a pet that lasts only 2 minutes?
That's right, none. Those "only differences" are the defenition of a pet and why fnf-shrooms are not pets.

Pets don't have 120 seconds durations. Pets can be controlled. Pets are one-at-a-time deals. Those are the reasons fnf-shrooms aren't pets. DoTs aren't pets, whisps aren't pets, bolts aren't pets, theurg-pets aren't pets yet they function the same way. In your mind I guess that makes all of those things pets.

I am still collecting Evidences, about this Nerf (even the staff say´s it is no nerf), to enforce this change.

Btw, i am still missing Blue´s Evidence about the Animist and Theurg Nerf.

It seems to me it's not only with pets. I'm also getting around 40% less exp than yesterday, with same mobs, same setup.

I'm an arb animist and only got 1 pet, however, killing without the pet doesn't seem to vary exp noticeably.

Are you using the DD Bomb,that's now also working like a pet? Try normal Lifeleech

FnF ARENT Pets.. NEVER , they should NOT leech XP.

If they are Pets. Let them ALSO Attacke KeepGates. like ALL Other Pets can.

I thought the definition of pet was controllable summoned follower.

FnF turrets arent controllable, but on the same token the BD "subpets" arent controllable either but still leach XP.

Also someone said that Theurg summons now leach XP; well Air/Earth/Ice summons have been always been considered Spells by their nature and spells should not leach XP.

:x :x :x Reduce spawn rate in bog, if the server cannot handle it, and you dont want the mass of the zerg there... Plz return FnF to no leeching, you are breaking the class...
