But how do you force them? Basically you can tell them the rule and they'll say, "Screw you, I'll play something else" and boom, lost all of the folks actually bringing attention to your project. Seems it would just be a way to negatively impact the server's free advertising. However, I would agree that if that rule was enforceable, then you could actually make it work. I just don't think anyone taking the time to run a stream will stick around to be dictated rules by a server that has no real control over them nor gives them anything for the work they put in on their stream. <Blood Feud>

I don't think they care about the overall player numbers for their project as much as they do keeping to whatever vision they have.
The rule of law has been "our way or the highway" this entire time - so why would it change in regards to streaming? |
