I choose launcher on my desktop and get screen with the red arrow pointing to play . I hit play and get message, Do you mean to swithch apps. I click yes and get message "Microsoft edge is trying to open uthgard launcher. I click yes and get a message saying please select your daoc game directory. at this point what should I do to complete log in

So much for getting help in support. Been trying to log on for 2 weeks and absolutely no help. What sucks the most is If I want to continue playing I have to go back to playing with op necros.

Stop trying to launch from the icon? Go to Uthgard home page and click on the play button on the top right.

Did you ever set you DAoC exe directory? If not you need to hit browse and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot. Then you will have to save and maybe? click play again.

i did try starting from the homepage I hit the play button and doesn't help

Please try the following steps:

1) Open https://uthgard.org/account/ and login with OpenID
2) Click on the "+" button next to the "Play" button
3) Click on the "Launcher settings" button
4) You should now see a Launcher Preferences window
5) Click on the "Change" button next to the field "Game Directory" and select your Uthgard Game Directory e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot
6) Click on the "Save" button
7) Go back to https://uthgard.org/account/
8) Click on the "Play" button (accept if your OS/browser wants to switch apps)
9) Hopefully the game client will start now for you
