Increase Window Size in Windowed Mode

Is there anyway to increase the window size while in window mode? I'm running a 2k monitor and I can't get the game to run at that resolution, so I switch to 1080p. Because of this I'd like to try running the game in windowed mode, but when I do the size of the window is about a 1/3 of my monitor. I'd like to increase it somehow but there is no option to change it. Does anyone know of a way to increase the window size while in a high resolution?

If you go into the video settings from the character select screen, there is an option there to change the resolution.

Yeah that changes the resolution but the size of the game window stays the same. I want to increase the game window size to around 1080p.

If you have the game in windowed mode then it should be changing the size of the window. Are you saying it's changing the resolution of the entire monitor instead?

The screen resolution is staying the same. My window is 1/3 of the screen resolution. I would like to increase that window size to 2/3 the screen so I can actually see what is going on.

Blame your video card
![]() I can select a resolution of 2715 x 1527. I don't know why because my screen can display more than 1920x1080. I can find this resolution in my nVidia config panel, it's called Dynamic Super Resolution. Hope it can help. [edit] Forget it, i search myself, it would be worst with this Dynamic Super Resolution... RIP : Ectoplasme

I'm trying to solve the same issue, radeon RX 470, screen is in 3840x2160 resolution.
I want to play in a window while doing passive/grindy stuff in wurm online in another 1 to 2 windows. No matter what I set the daoc resolution to in settings, the window size is the same (extremely tiny) and cannot be dragged/manually resized. I've tried tweaking most if not all radeon settings including a separate profile with separate display scaling options for camelot.exe. I found a couple of potential solutions but they involve other paywalled 3rd party software which I'd like to avoid. Is this windowed mode behavior the same for everyone or is this an AMD thing? I think I do vaguely recall the window size scaling w/ in-game resolution on live, but I also had a different graphics card the last time I played there and I could be wrong about this. Thanks |

This is resolved for me - pretty funny actually, after you hit play the proper resolution from options is set. I did a bunch of research on the problem but hadn't tried hitting play, because I didn't want to play in that small of a window...
![]() sdchris did your configured resolution also get set after hitting play? |

Yes the menu resolution is always 800x600 afaik. Only the ingame resolution can be changed.
