and yesterday we had more dead weight and garbage players then good ones,

the good ones were in 2 groups and everyone else got scraps, so unless you are melee or completely suck and cant get exp , stick to dungeons

DPS 42+ , and healers need to cross heal tanks.

Then the exp is ok:ish ~~~

so what level do u have to be to join in ?

Depending on what class 40+ you are it might be better to bring a Lvl 50 Dmg. Although there are some tricks for every class I suppose. Tree i hope it would work this way on Uthgard. It just dont. NA hasnt have a cullen zerg going because noone is settin it up. Ive tried to to stop leading it and see others step up and what we have is no zerg untill 6pm or so and its a complete mess. Is so easy to log in and see the zerg going on and join, and then leave. But u know the zerg does not get going alone. Thats the problem im seeing here, we dont have a 24/7 zerg where the lead swaps to keep it going, we are having lots of trouble in there, im droping leadership and people picking up settin loot to treasurer etc. Its a big mess, we are far from having a pub 24/7 cullen zerg going on like in the old days, this is a complete different beast.

My perception from this thread is, tree is an egoist taking his advantage over others by trying to hide behind his wall of text. But thats just what I read, since i dont play hib

1. You are entitled to your opinion, but I still feel it's sad you neither take the time nor effort to follow the ongoing discussion or want to contribute anything meaningful except calling me an egoist without knowing the first thing about me.
2. I am not an egoist, but neither am I a communist. I believe in equal opportunity and clear rules. Thats what I was advocating from the beginning.
3. I obviously don't hide, quite the contrary. I express what I believe is best for Uthgard and challenge others to do the same in a respectful and constructive way. If you were not that opinionated, you might also have noticed that both sides of the discussion took time and effort to write rather long posts to explain their believes.

On the upside you are still probably right and I should write a short, fast to read and easy to understand conclusion to what has been going on and update the first post with it. Thank you for your insinuated suggestion.

Well seeing that there were over 130 people there at the same time today, I am sure someone will eventually organize a few people to get it started. The last days I was mostly crafting and just returned to SC today, but I was checking /who regularly and from what I have seen its starting sometime around midday EU time and goes on well into the night with very high player counts. So I believe there is a demand but in the american timezone there just not that many people playing and maybe they rather keep to themselves or get other things started. I still think the whole affair is a great success considering its running 3/4 of any given day. Maybe it will even run nonstop on the weekend.
On live after some time people just knew that at a certain time of day it will start and they logged in automatically. So in the beginning you had 1-2 groups standing there (most logged out on spot the previous day) and when enough were there they started pulling. At this early state obviously someone has to call the shots, but when started more and more people would either log in their parked twinks or go there from Innis. Its simple, thats quite the beauty of it.

Again Tree, i just hope it worked this way on Uthgard. You speaking about ongoing 24/7 zergs, maybe on weekend u say. Today is sundays morning, yesterday saturday night there was still a bg going on. Go ask what happened and how we (everyone in there) after A LOT of effort managed to keep it going non stop now thru the sunday morning without loosing the few ppl we got. Honestly, its just a different beast we have here, not an ongoing public 24/7 BG where the lead changes. When everyone is on the bg and working as a team its just more fair and MUCH MORE exp for everyone, noone is discouraging people to come with lvl 50s and get the loot, just join the BG and share the gold amongst everyone, we are not advocating for communism here, just a lil bit of common sense.

If the bg has 130 people then it should atleast split into 2 if not 3. But nobody cba todo it.

exp isnt even that great. Been here for an hour and gotten 1/2 a level and Im only 6. Should have been like 30 by now the way people brag about how good the exp is.

You need a group with a DPS 40+ , Animists r perfect when played correctly.

TIP for anis that have no tank and bad heals in group, place your 2min shrooms in middle of the zerg shrooms and just stand in the AoE of other groups. => the exp is not amazingly best, but its enuff for PLing low levels.
