Hib has just a good grp setup even better then mid. so cant blame that on mid.. and hib gets grp purge.. so yea

Hibs should've had the first realm 50, just like they had in the beta.

I don't know what they're doing, but whatever they're doing, it is wrong.

I keeping seeing this dumb stream with 50+ people zerg exping in Bog of Cullen.

Are you kidding me?

Why are you not in Sheeroe Hills doing this? Much better loot, and much better exp.

The reason why Hib is behind is because they're stupid.

Albs are doing fine even tho they have the hardest time leveling to 50.

Psst, might have something to do with the fact that bog of cullen siabras has higher concentration of level 60+ mobs and faster respawn. Oh and also you can run out there solo without coordinating a group effort to fight through 1k range aggro radius mobs to arrive at an xp spot.

You joking right? Albs are hopeless and cant help themselves, we are behind Mid but will catch up.

Only a few guilds from Uth1 Alb realm rolled on Mid this time around. In our case (MYTH) it had nothing to do with the 'easy mode' of the patch level. We took a vote at a guild meeting about 6 months ago and picked Mid as a return to our 'home'. We were Mid Merlin 15 years ago, were Alb on Uth1 and now we're Mid again. I'm pretty sure our leveling pace would have been much the same on Alb or Mid. We created leveling guild groups during the first hour the server was live. We wouldn't have made solo necros even if we had decided to go Alb again.

Not to mention a lot of our camps being decimated in terms of mob pop...

Isnt it great? I am an Alb and it is hilarious watching and listening to all the "sky is falling" messages and posts.

This weekend Alb had DF for probably the longest stretch we had.

Alb Keep take spam was filling chat logs pretty often. People in newbie guilds were legit surprised.

Most our keeps are now claimed by guilds.

People like me have been preaching the gospel of " Settle down and wait for our realm to hit 50."

As more and more Albs and Hibs are hitting 50 we are seeing exactly what we said we would see: actual competition in RvR.

With 4000+ players on the server, once a sizable chunk of players hits max level I have a feeling the frontiers will be quite crowded. The theorycrafting and paper DAOC is all based around leet 8v8 from sparsely populated Uthgard Beta and Live. I have a feeling that we will see the resurgence of massive zerg battles that made DAOC great for casual and hardcore players. 8v8s will still exist.

There you have it folks, we have achieved "actual competition in RvR" according to a LGM tailor necro who has reached this conclusion based on seeing keep spam in chat.

-The crowd of "pro" DAOC players all rolled mid the most OP realm on this patch
-Made sure they allied themselves with all of the other "I33t" guilds
-Powered to 50 so that they could get every advantage possible
-Exploited and cheated to capture relics


And will still get their ISH pushed in by the disorganized ALBS! & HIBS...

The people who rolled MID are cowards, seriously they tried to stack the deck in their favor and ensure that they have no competition in game. Guess what losers knocking down the doors to empty keeps doesn't add inches to your jimmy, it just shows that you don't have one.

I take issue with that logic.

Could also be one of these things:

-Played Mid on Live
-Prefer Viking Lore to Arthurian and Celtic Lore
-Like the Environment - ( I live in Minnesota, its pretty much Midgard here and I almost rolled Mid for that reason)

-Or they could just be cowards.
