Type /change and scroll down to see bg ranges.

They are:

15-19
20-24
25-29
30-35

Sounds like someone took a knife to a gun fight? Here's a pro tip. You can have a full group too! In fact, you can bring several groups to a BG. It's not meant to be an arena.
