I have a Daoc paid account and Uthgard is using that as my account. How do I change this?
|

i doubt very much thats true as Uthgard has no way to collect account information from the live servers.
Perhaps go into details about what you are doing and what you are seeing? |

Tis true, when I go into accounts I actually go into my paid account log in and I dont know why or how to change it.

and how are you launching the game client?
Are you clicking your old DAOC icon or using the play button in the browser? Clicking play should launch the Uthgard Launcher, which is programmed to only authenticate against the Uthgard server. If you are getting live server details then you are launching the live server login process. Process should be simple. 1. Install a DAOC client into a new folder exclusively for Uthgard. 2. Install any needed components as specified in the "How to Play" instructions https://uthgard.org/howto 3. Sign into the Uthgard website using your "OpenID" account details; you may need to create a new ID. 4. Click on the PLUS button on the play button and select Launcher Settings. 5. Configure your launcher to point to your dedicated Uthgard client. 6. Click Play That should allow you to play; i would advise you go over the posts regarding renderer creation failed, or injection failed, to ensure you don't have these issues when you eventually get to the top of the queue. Nothing worse than waiting 4 hours to get in only to discover you are missing DotNet 4 or Dx9 Dlls. |

I have installed a new copy of the game on a different drive to where my paid game is.
I have pointed Uthgard at that drive. I use the Uthgard logon As its not causing any trouble right now I wont worry about it.. but I have cancelled both my paid accounts and just hope that when they run out it doesnt cause me problems on Uthgard. Thankyou for your replies. |
