VPN client's do work, unfortunately stable ones will cost anywhere from 3 - 7 dollars a month, free ones are unreliable, this website will not let me post URLS but hide . me and private internet access are two that are reliable.

Im still geting brutal MS when I log in and LD frequently. How can this be resolved I know little about networking. Everything is golden for me until I get into Europe. Is there anything I can do on my end? I hear people are playing from VPNs not sure if anyone can recommend one.

I reccomend WTFast. I live in Europe close to the Uthgard site so I don't need it for this game, but I use it when I connect to servers in USA or Asia. I got some guildmates who live in the states to try it and it helped them stay connected. They offer a free trial so you can determine if it helps you prior to paying for it.

First week was great then three days ago it became unplayable for me.
Did a tracert to the server was getting lost packets and 1600 ping, not sure why.
I installed WTFast and all my problems went away for two days now solid connection no problems, no lag.
I live in Texas getting a 140 ping now or so to the server.

looks like hetzner.de gest really bad when EU primetime comes up.

i have sent in a appeal in game but still having the same issue even after buying a VPN.

Im using astrill btw and doesnt matter what server i pick the ping is still unplayedable.

im getting 7sec delay on everything T_T, but then sometime everything is fine. during primetime euro tho 90% of the time its unplayable.

at this time also 8h20 pm eastern/usa im usually fine but tonite its unplayable. this packet lost is really annoying

I got red latency lag too last night and this morning. I cannot log in i.e. cant patch in launcher or stuck after character selection screen. Getting a VPN isn't an option that i will take, not because of money (I am working) but if I pay for VPN (which is not common here), I might as well play the other DAOC. Also, VPN doesn't guarantee to solve the problem.

Maybe its something they cannot control. Bad hop, with there isp.

They dont have control of isp routing etc. I agree its frustrating, i have a guild mate with the same hops that can barely ay, but others play fine.do we want it fixed, yes. But explain to me how they can fix tbis? How many isp are there in euro.....3?

It is hell. Some days can play hours with no LD other , more often then not go LD every 5 - 10 minutes. Wish there was something we could do.

For me i can't play after 11pm est the server just stops responding, really getting frustrating.

happening to me now, played all morning just fine, about 45 mins ago started getting kicked every 2 mins or so.

horrible ping and lag today, even with vpn and without. also authentication server lags?
