11AM, and a 1400 person queue? Not cool. And at the rate it was going down, it'd be 4PM by the time I got in the game. Not a good way to impress a first-timer.

This Server is world-wide. 11AM at your time maybe prime time in other parts of the earth. The staff works hard and they do this all for free. I deeply respect their work and I am sure they do the best they can for us! |

I just waited 3 hours and when I was down to last few hundred people, Launcher disappeared. Thanks Uthgard.

Ok I don't know if the 10 minute forgiveness is working because I just got disconnected twice today and it put me right back in queue. Might want to check that out and make sure it's working.

Have not been able to connect now for 2 days. I have been in the queue for as little as 2 minutes before the window disappears and have made it to 2nd in line after 2 hours 20mins in queue and never past it. I have had a ping command running now for 2 days that has not lost a single ping yet but for some reason this keeps failing.
Any ideas? |

I'd try running the DAOC client patch and then launch Uthgard after update is finished. Maybe files are missing? Not sure it will help. Rudy - Necro

I am appreciative of all the time and hard work you guys have put into making Uthgard great again! Yes the que is very long and in 2 weeks I have been able to log on for 15 minutes before the server was rebooted. Yes I too am a casual player, but I understand all the bugs are being worked out. It's free people! The people revamping Uthgard have captured the old school experience of DAOC. It's popular again! Thank you!

I don't understand all the complaining about the que, come on people, look at the population! Its a free server, and is here because a handful of dedicated people wanted to create a classic environment for everyone to enjoy. What is your problem... if you don't connect fast enough you can always jump on another free server, it wont be as well maintained, it wont have as much work put in it as Uthgard does, but you are welcome to hop if you want, no one says you have to stay here. I would rather have the population than I dead server, but Uthgard is my home Daoc experience.
Things are working very well staff, the only problem I would like to see addressed and I am sure it will be when server is as stable as you feel it needs to be, everyone does not get credit for getting the intended kill on quests. I hope that explanation makes sense. I have seen this already mentioned on the issue racer, so I have no doubt it will be addressed soon. Thank you so much for a great server! |
