So, planning my RA's and I'm out for some Feedback.
I'd start with Aug Acutiy 2 Serenity 2 Long Wind 2 . That takes me to 1L2 Then work on MCL 2 Then head for Wild Arcana and Wild Power for bombers keep defence .. Thoughts? |

Serenity and Tireless are worse than useless here - avoid at all costs.
General order for casters: MCL2 - > LW1 -> personal preference Personal preference being: - load up on passives - MoC first (aug acuity 3 required) - Purge first Wild Arcana is for dots only - you don't need it on animist. Wild Power and mastery of magery r your main passives. Evinak - Eldritch

Serinity gives 1 more point of mana at every tick, per level. It doesn't increase the tick frequency. Check the tick frequency while in combat, and imagine how long it will take for thie RA to give you enough mana to cast 1 more spell at level 50. At low level, Serenity can be helpfull, but at level 50, it's a waste of RP. MCL give a percent of mana pool. Far better. Tireless : viewtopic.php?p=392635#p392635 RIP : Ectoplasme

Not much to explain, the regen both RA's provide is so insignificant, it's not worth even 1 RSP.
As one of the GM's mentioned, ppl only remember these RA's from NF - i remember seeing them on the list in OF and getting Serenity on casters, but that was basically considered a requirement at the time - not sure if ne1 actually tested it and deemed it worthy. With Tireless from NF, i remember lvling a tank in 30's/40's and, having gone completely ooe, getting enough end for a style from tireless after only a few unstyled swings. Or sprinting all the end away and then having it slowly regen back to full while still running - maybe in a total of 1 minute. I tried tireless 1 in beta - went ooe and ran from like mag mell to ardee - barely got 5% end back during that run. Evinak - Eldritch

While I second the fact that it's worthless, you could have picked a better example here. Mag Mel to Ardee is probably one of the shortest distances between two towns in all 3 realms ![]() |

Point i was trying to make is that NF Tireless would get u most of the end back in the same run from MM to Ardee that OF Tireless barely gets u 5%.

The buff or chant that regen Endurance, at level 1 regen endurance 4 times faster than Tireless 5.

Lets assume I just want to boost my solo and shrooming capabilities, what are the most useful RAs?
List I came up with MCL -> no brainer Augmented Acuity -> bigger mana pool (benefits MCL too) Ethereal Bond -> bigger mana pool (benefits MCL too) Mastery of the Art -> faster production of shrooms Wild Minion -> does it work on all shrooms or just the main shroom? Raging Power -> 100% mana in combat, however only every 30 minutes, so not a consistent improvement to soloing Forestheart Ambusher -> one more shroom for 3 minutes every 30 minutes? PvE:(with PvP in mind)
MCL1 Acuity to 3 MoC Purge MCL2 PvE:(only PvE in mind) MCL1 Acuity3 MCL2 Raging Power (good when you need to really GO FOR IT). Ethereal Bond (3% per level) , i would prolly use this only if you are sure you drown in points. ( one could go MCL2 and then Raging power, i might do this if i am only PvE ). Also there is a trick with quickcast (you can go negative in power with it), so if you calculate Concentration ability of 10 points, you could use quickcast 2 times, and cast 2 most costly pets/spells last. BUT be warned, quickcast with almost 0 power will put you out of power for a wee bit long time (unless you use MCL). But yea, 2 x quickcast x lvl 50 FaF turrets is a good bonus ![]() PvP:(100% PvP in mind) Purge Acuity to 3 MoC MCL1 MCL2 -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

For some1 who hasn't got an animist over 40 ever, why such a rush for MoC on a pve animist? PvP i can kind of see it - MoC lifetap to stay alive, but then u need at least some points in arb for it to be worthwhile.
Or are there situations where u need MoC to put down shrooms? Evinak - Eldritch

Maybe you misread, if you want to go RvR regularly he recommended MoC, which kinda makes sense for every caster.

Right, fair enough. But again, for pvp, is it for lifetap only or am i missing some instances where moc'ing some shrooms down will actually justify 14 pts?

Well you can use shrooms in open RvR, but that hardly ever makes sense, because people are moving back and forth, so you can use shrooms only for area denial until they are mezzed of course. Its more likely that you will use your bomber spells, so therefore MoC.
