Hi guys,

I have a problem on my second PC when i try to connect;

I have everything asked in getting started installed, but when i click on PLAY UTHGARD logo appears and then nothing ... i can press PLAY again and it's always the same thing.

I re-install daoc but it changes nothing;

Can someone help me maybe ?

same here ;\ can't even get to see the launcher, keeps asking me for UAC evaluation even though that's off, trie running as administrator.

edit : nvm, now for some reason i can run the launcher and it patches.

many of us having a similar problem, im thinking its the launcher.

yes ive try with a new daoc folder but it doesn't change anything, UTHGARD appears and then nothing ...

On my other PC no pb , i don't understand ^^

Here's what might help. (How i got mine to work)


I turned my antivirus WebRoot securanywhere off.. I installed that runtime 4.6 or w/e (from microsoft).. then I got the game off that page they tell you too, I ran it (it didn't start at first), then I ran camtest.exe within that same folder.. got some error.. waited a bit, ran again Camelot and finally the launcher launched and it downloaded like 3gb. After I got the Uthgard launcher from the site, installed it in the same folder with the game, selected the game's folder when it asked me to pinpoint it, then bang it worked. It patched and now i'm in the que.

You can also right click on the uthgard shortcut on your desktop and run it as administrator. But make sure to have first downloaded the game successfully via the normal game launcher.

i did it but it still doesn't work ...

i don't understand i just see the UTHGARD logo in white appear and then Nothing ...

am i the only one to have this pb ? and no pb on my other pc i don't understand ...

when i click play button i see Uthgard program launching in my list, but the program close down just after the UTHGARD logo appears ... i don't understand i've tried with IE Mozilla chrome etc ...

Did you ever manage to get the Launcher options to come up and select 'camelot.exe' for your DAoC directory?

yep sure and it's ok , i reinstall like 4 times daoc and always same pb

i just re-install the game in the C:user folder to try with a new launcher etc ... and same pb i only have the logo UTHGARD in white and then Nothing happen, i can try with chrome Firefox IE etc always the same ...

Is there another solution to connect to this serv ? because it's fkin annoying ...
