Already been on RvR runs where people stream, other realm finds out, mounts a defense way earlier than they would have if not for the info via streamers. :|

BG leads checking/asking people to stop streaming is another chore on their busy plate. Personally, I think streams are a healthy way of supporting the server, but they hurt RvR for obvious reasons. Maybe make a rule streamers have to delay their feeds if streaming RvR?

I think its great when people stream RvR, nothing like watching a dragon swoop from behind a hill thanks to the stream, and the tears that follow.

I'll have a 10 minute delay on my stream, good luck with stream sniping then.

Please delay broadcasted streams. We also did that when we streamed events live on Uth 1.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

Personally I plan to run with at least 10 minutes delay if I am going to stream RvR.

Are there any consequences for streamers without delay? They are spreading x-realm information.

Some days ago mids were rushing through DF and hibs were able to watch mids decisions in real time via stream. :gaga:

Well beeing afraid of xrealming with 1week timer and having streams without delay is not really consistent.
I think to be consistent staff should set a new rule that streamers in rvr have to put x minutes of delay.

Not something they can really enforce. I mean I suppose they could watch streams and attempt to figure out the delay and then ban if not near what they set in the rule. However thats a lot of extra work/time to put into something like this.

More likely, people just need to know who they are grouping with and if a group member is a stream, to ensure to mention something to them about adding a delay or just removing them from the group if they don't.

The realm switch delay is not there to prevent the flow of information, noone is that naive to believe people would actually have to log to another realm to do that. It is to prevent the flow of players.

Force streamers to show in game clock. Problem solved.
