Same problem here. Just got booted out of nowhere.

yeah, i was in the mines, looking for a group and then BOOM kicked

And now the server is capped at 1500 with 1400 in queue =/

They had network issues and the problem should be fixed by now.

Just a tip: If you have problems with such things, you might want to join the IRC. It is easy and the staff informs about everything live there.

i can't talk in the irc for some reason, i said i still have issues and then i couldn't talk anymore

Negative.

Getting "Update check failed" error box and then "Patcher encountered an unhandled exception".

I always get many error messages before it eventually loads the game, been like this since beta (I asssumed it was like this for everyone). But tonight it seems it stopped working entirely.

And now it's the login queue for me.

Well then. Guess the amount of people wanting to play exceeded expectations here a tad.

I get the same error today. I got to the splash screen once told me to hit escape. No connect before and after that can' connect to authentication server . Most of the time it does not even try to connect

I also get unable to read data from the transport connection if that helps

I played from launch everyday now in january, but today I cant connect because of this error "can't connect to the authentication server". Says check your firewall settings, but didnt change anything.

same thing today failed to connect auhentication server and I was on then logged the character to see if my silver would comeback ,I had 40 then all of a sudden I only had 2. Now get the large UTHGARD lertters right after getting failed to connect
