Dear players.
Many thanks once again for your incredible response and of course patience. During prime time numbers we are reaching 2400 people online with over 1000 in the queue waiting to get online. Whilst this is amazing we can understand the immense frustration that players are experiencing and we send many apologies for those of you that are experiencing issues. As this post goes out we have now put out a second support server for our code which should help increase our player capacity, we expect to increase the cap beyond 2400 (hopefully by much more). However we are continuing to improve this as we go along. We are also adding a dedicated database server which will further help support the server capacity. Once again I would like to extend my gratitude for players support at this time but also many apologies for those of you experiencing frustrations. We are doing everything we can to get you all online. Your Uthgard Staff People coming together as a community can make great things happen.

While i'm glad the player cap is being increased, Albion remains unplayable. Anytime there is more than 2000 online, there is a delay anywhere from 2-5s after every cast. A third of your population has been affected by this since launch on Friday. Also, horses are completely bugged in Albion as they randomly drop you for no reason.
Edit: Seems to be mostly fixed (0.5s delay) as of edit and 2 hours after update. Edit 2: Lol jk, less than 30min later it's back to 5s delay and unplayable. Servers are extremely unstable. Last edited by Ardri on Jan 09, 2017 03:04, edited 2 times in total.

Yes the cap is great the lag wowa thats something else. of course i'm not surprised adding a new server and 1k people suddenly i'm sure you're working on it. Good job guys thanks. If you can't get the lag under control though might wanna think dialling the cap back just a little bit.

3000 current players with 110 in the queue. Wonderful!
Thanks for all of your hard work, and continued hard work. ![]() ![]() |

3000 on a DAoC free shard. Honestly, never thought id see the day. If you guys can keep that pop, and get rid of the spell lag, Broadsword may have to consider paying you guys to stop, cause you will be crushing them at that point.

keep it up guys!

Hmm. It seems odd then when 1800 are online there is no casting delay in Albion, but when 2100-3000 are on the delay and lag is there in full force. Last edited by Ardri on Jan 09, 2017 06:05, edited 1 time in total.

Keep up the good work guys!
We love you! |

im also saying, i love this server and the idea but as long as the server isnt stable with more than 2000ppl on it, server cap should be decreased again. This is not even playable :/ whatever, keep up the great work ![]() |

Doing an awesome job, thank you so very much I am sure these numbers have taken you all by surprise but the professional way you are handling it ensures many players will hang around for the long haul.

Broadsword doesn't even hold a candle to these guys here. I would be willing to bet live servers didn't even hit 300 total with bots. Also who do I pay to make sure nothing like BS ever happens to uthgard? _=What makes the red man red?=_
