Use 32bit instead [x86] regardless of which you have ---C++ Redestributable 2015 (x86) ---

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any other cause/fix for the "VCRUNTIME140.dll" error
You might even consider uninstall/reinstall the Redistrutable even if you got the correct one the first time around (supposedly the .dll can be corrupted)

Ughhh "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 for x86 (the 64-bit version will not work since DAoC is 32-bit"

How did I Miss that!? damnit....

I installed the 32 bit this time; i didn't delete the 64 bit one, should I have?

anyways back in the queue... 902/965...

I don't think having both would cause issue~
By all means if it still fails you might try getting rid of the 64bit version

I just encountered this problem myself after waiting 3 hours in queue.

I didn't have this issue when I played yesterday. Why am I getting it now? Where do I go or what do I google to download whatever it is I need to download to fix this?

I fixxed it.

Go to here: (removed)

Follow the link to download "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015"

Download the "x86" version and install.

Same as other people have said. Was a little confused at first as I'm not super familiar with these things, but this worked for me.

Can even download and install it while you're in queue so you don't have to drop out.

*edit: had to remove the link because of this message: "YOUR POST LOOKS TOO SPAMY FOR A NEW USER, PLEASE REMOVE OFF-SITE URLS."

The uthgard launcher will always attempt to use the 32-bit version

All you're doing is installing .NET Framework [latest version from microsoft site) and C++ Windows Redistributable (x86) 2015 (also from microsoft site]
They're typically the top result from a google search

Hi guys.

As it worked for me, Im sharing this with you.
Im french and my DAoC installation was located on a folder with a "é".
I have just delete this "é" to a normal "e" and it worked !

The game seems to hate special character.

Hope this will help some of you.

PS : sorry for bad english
