Question about Queue

After the popup box states what your place is in queue, are you to close that and hit play again or just leave the box up and wait?

Leave it up and wait. The game will start when it's your time.

I closed the the Login-Queue several times, because i thought it has been stucked
But everytime, when i tried to start new, the amount of Players in front has constantly risen up (actually 1400 players+ now)
Did i made something wrong?
I havent installed anything new since playing Beta last week.
Can someone help me?
