It seems like I might be destined for PuG life till I find some regulars in my time zone. Just curious of what class we expect to be underplayed for RvR in particular 8man.

Cleric most likely since you always need two and some people find them boring. I think there will be lots of armsman and cabalists but those would be my next choices.

Mercenary might be an overlooked one. There will be plenty of them but you always need 2/3 of them in any "optimal" melee party, and more often then not 8men will have to bend into inviting the occasional arms/reaver/mincer/theurg/cabalist to fill up the last spot cos they cant find the 3rd merc. Also some people doesnt like to manually swap shield and they just go full dual so if you r willing to go for the manual slam you get extra points, and if you are a good player in general of course.

With that being said if you are looking for a random party and there is a 7 men waiting at the pk, they might already have a couple or arms/reaver which are not optiomal but still took your "rightful" spot, while as a cleric they will never take a friar in your place, if that makes sense.

So really depends what you are asking, and what is your PoV on it. You might think that a reaver or an arms is just "fine" and im being too strict so all i wrote counts for nothing

Most needed albion class will be a GOOD SORC. Get that and you're gold.
