Hi,

trying to download the game via the "mythic patcher" it comes to an error.

a. The patcher either closes itself without leaving any message, same as if somebody clicks the X button or
b. The patcher stops popping up an error message (in german) like in english would say: "Patch client doesn't work anymore. Program is not being exercised properly due to an error. The programm is going to be closed and you will receive a message when a solution is available." (german: "Patch client funktioniert nicht mehr - Das Programm wird aufgrund eines Problems nicht richtig ausgeführt. Das Programm wird geschlossen und Sie werden beanchrichtigt, wenn eine Lösung verfügbar ist.")

My system is as stated below:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
SP 1
Duo Processor 2 x 3 GigH
4 GB Ram


I tried the download also with anti virus program and firewall shut down, but it made no difference.

To clarify, you:
Downloaded DAocSetup.exe
Ran it, picked a path, installed
Ran camelot.exe (or the shortcut on your desktop)
And you get this error at this point?

I followed each step from this page: https://uthgard.org/howto#2

I tried it out now with compatibility mode for win xp sp2 and sp3, as well as doing this as administrator, but it does not bring any change to the problem.

Unfortunately I haven't seen this error before and it seems entirely part of the regular DAoC game and not Uthgard at this point.

You could try uninstalling and re-installing, but that's all I can guess.

I'm also on Windows 7 64bit and never had issue with Mythic's patcher,
is the default install directory using /Program Files(x86)?

both questions yes.

the problem was solved somehow because I just restarted the download every time when it was canceled by the error. The good thing is, that the downloaded data were seemingly kept in the file and the download started always that point where it ended last time by the error.

Which means that a number of some canceled downloads in a row made the download complete. Game worked for about 2 hours last night on Uthgard Beta.

perhaps a diskcheck is in order for errors Good that the problem is solved with the game, but if you have errors on your disk it might reappear and worse.
