The other day I saw a post but can't find it anymore that mentioned a few ''templates'' for 8man groups in ALB, in other words what are the usual class picked in an 8 man RVR group? Anybody who has a link to the post or just the general information of what an 8 man group usually consists of?

Option 1 (caster rupt and dps):
Cabalist
Sorc/Caba/Theurg

Armsman (guard + peel) or another caster

Option 2 (caster rupt and melee dps):
Theurg (better rupt) or cabalist (worse rupt but additional cast assist dps option)
Merc
Merc or Arms
Arms (guard + peel)

Option 3 ("full" melee - not very likely):
Merc
Merc
Merc or Arms
Arms (guard + peel) or extremely unlikely pala for endu chant (or something between even more unlikely and unplayable at this patch level: necro for af debuff)

Always wanted for groups:
- Mind Sorc
- Cleric x2
- Minstrel (this is up for debate but the class is amazing if well played, should be in every group except maybe for keep fights)

Usually wanted for groups:
- Armsman (almost included this in the always wanted category, you're always going to have atleast 1 caster who needs guarding)
- Cabalist (another class that should probably be in every group)
- Theurgist
- Mercenary

Minstrel, sorc, and caba are the hardest to play so if not very experienced you may want to try a different toon first.
