I'm trying to get ready for the re-launch. I've followed all the steps and have an Open ID account which has been accepted, showing my avatar and the message, "Your account is currently in good standing, no rule violations have been reported. "
However, when I click on the PLAY button in the top right-hand corner of the browser I get the message, "Please select your DAoC game directory!". I click on OK, but nothing happens, i.e. no message asking me to navigate to a directory :?: .
Am I doing something wrong or missing something?
Please help, thanks.

To add further:-

Having exited from several browser pages I discovered that the launcher was underneath the web pages. I then saw the option for locating the directory with Camelot.exe and navigated to the file. However, it wouldn't save the path and the field for the path cleared itself. Not sure what's happening. Any ideas please?

What browser are you using? Try using chrome or IE if you aren't already.
My mind’s made up, don’t confuse me with facts.
You mustn't assume that your personal situation is a reflection of every other person that has logged in to Uthgard.

I'm not entirely what I did but the game is working now. I clicked on the path for Camelot.exe, then saved it. Then when I clicked "play" the Uthgard patcher started up and after that had completed the game launched and I was able to go into the character creation screen.

Should be where ever you installed the game - depending on your operating system something along the lines of
Code: Select all
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot\camelot.exe
ALBION:
Galgotha (Reaver)
Galowen (Cabalist)
Gilaina (Infiltrator)
Grimas (Necro)

1. Right click on Dark Age of Camelot Shortcut
2. Target = the location of file
3. in that file location = Camelot.exe
