hey there as in the topic written the launcher need two minutes to start the game. when i quit the game and did it again it is nearly instant.
three days ago it was all fine and then i did a horrible mistake and made 100 windows 7 updates. any workaround ideas?

This is a great question. This happened to me last night as well. It was quite weird, never had any issues with the launcher but it took a good minute or two for the 100% to go away and then see the Uthgard image popup and the game load.

I did some windows updates recently but not many at all. Any ideas what could be causing this?

All I can say is that I do not have this issue on Windows 10. Since I did not start the launcher for several months *duck* it downloaded a few files first. Even with my slow internet connection it took less than 30 seconds. Every following attempt to log in was nearly instant.

I have a machine with Windows 7 around here but it's currently in use. I will make a comparison later.

Yea, I will try again tonight and see what happens. I am running Windows 7 x64 and never saw this before. There wasn't even any new files to download so not sure the issue.

Okay, I have checked it out on a machine running Windows 7 x64 with all updates installed (it claims the latest updates are from 13.12.) and it works just as fine as it does on my other one. Tested with FF 50.1 on both machines but I don't think that the browser should be an issue.

Ok, good to know. Also, yes, the 13th of december is the second tuesday which is always when new windows updates are released, so you should be good there. Hoping this is a one off, will test once I am out of work today.

I have found a lot of old net framework installations, like 4.5.2 and more. I will test later when i'm home from work and report

When it is at 100% there is an additional integrity check that runs. Progress bars are funny things

Well I ran it again and it did sit at 100% for a bit but didn't seem nearly as long as before. I'll chalk it up to a one time thing unless I notice it get worse.

If I do notice it getting worse, should I reinstall the uthgard installer or is there something else I should look at that could possibly be getting in the way?

do i need microsoft visual c++ 2008, 2010 and 2012?

I've seen it stick at 100% on three occasions and don't think there's anything wrong on your end
