hey everyone, I have played DAOC since around 2003 on a desktop when I was about 13. a friend installed it for me and also installed portal to play on genesis and now hopefully uthgard. I Just bought a laptop and am going through the installation process right now.
I am not great with computers at all so I was just hoping for a simple step by step to get going again on daoc portal.
Do I need to go through all of the patches on LIVE after installing DAOC from the website?

First of all, don't use the old portal at all.
