What do you guys think of this - a friar specced 46 enh (red heat resist), 43 rej (396 heal) and 19 staff. Would I get into competitive roaming groups on Uth? The idea would be to play it like a cleric and peeler. Group would still have two clerics in addition to the friar. Can push with tanks once theurg/cab pets are out and serve as big, power efficient, ST heals and resists in an extend group. Plenty of buffs to go around and red heat resists for the hib groups.

What do you all think of the idea? Would it be worth it or a waste of my time leveling?

As far as pve is concerned. Would I be able to farm decently with 19 staff or is that too low?

I think it could work. On my server groups rarely ran one, and I played Dark RM. I always preferred fighting the Alb Groups cuz they never ran resists and I blew em up. I'm a big fan of having them, but you unfortunately give up things to run them.

I'd go 48 Enhance for red Cold resist. stay at 34 Rejuv imo. The red heals soak your power so fast.

You'd be a floating interrupter with backup cure disease and heals. And the extra base buffer that's got decent defenses is nice to have.

Not sure what to drop for it though. On Lamorak in Bedlam we ran Friar cuz our Theurg quit. it was OK, but I wouldn't recommend dropping Theurg lol.

Played against you guys on classics =)

Not chance we'd drop the theurg for it. Would need to have minst, sorc, theurg, cleric x2, friar and two other dps. I'd still have the yellow major heal that I could use, too. Plus, I don't think there will be too many cold trains on uth.

power will be a real issue i think, so that high rejuv on pretty much anything could be hard. must be watched and played very close to perfect. and as far as bedlam went. fought with them in a lot of area's. i was mid galahad when they were hibs. sweets and phoz still haunt me. one of very very few groups to mess with The Knightwatch at that time.

As someone with competitive 8v8 experience I would say you can get groups as rejuv friar. Maybe not with the most try hard groups but if you are competent it's not a completely worthless slot like some classes. The problem with rejuv friar is you are more valuable vs caster groups because of your red resists. This server will be dominated by tanks though. So your group is gonna be on the low end of dps output with you in group.

Make a name for yourself. Play rejuv friar F it.

unless youre running with a set groups with the same +/-15 people every night i wouldnt bother rolling and leveling a rejuv friar on a classic server.

since no BBs / no buff pots -> group will miss essential buffs if running 1cler 1friar
friar heals are nowhere near comparable to what a friar heals on live
2cler 1friar groups may work but i doubt this is a support for your average wednesday evening pug

if i were you id roll a cleric since you will most likely have a hard time finding groups on a friar
