Hello here, I wanted to play DAoC through Uthgard so I followed all the steps to make it happen. But once I've downloaded the launcher and installed it, I get nothing or either a "check update flailed" error. What's wrong ? I freshly downloaded the entire DAoC game before that and those frameworknet things, etc. I did something wrong somewhere ? Any help would be appreciated

that's what I did, but when I use the "Play!" button, nothing happens I've downloaded "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 for x86" after the launcher (so not in the right order), it's a problem ? I've also launched camelot.exe once the game has been downloaded, which means te game has been "officially" patched. Does it make a conflict with the Uthgard launcher ?

Generally it shouldn't matter if you install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 for x86 before or after installing the launcher. You should only patch the official game once. Then don't run Camelot.exe again or you will undo what Uthgard has patched. Then you should run the Uthgard launcher and it should patch files for Uthgard. If you're at that point, and clicking Play in your browser still does nothing, try either using a different browser or temporarily disabling all/any of your virus / firewall protection. If it does work after that you should figure out which app might be blocking it and add it to the whitelist. There are a few common issues people have had but I don't recall "nothing happens" - maybe you just ran the official game again? Let us know and we'll get you there.

Maybe try to install the uthgard launcher/patcher with administrator rights. It tries to install a protocol handler, and the play-button relies on that handler being functional. Perhaps this step fails (silently?) when not installed with admin rights.. ?

I'm using Mozilla Firefox as browser. Hm, the weird thing is, when I started to install the launcher for the first time and tried to launch it through the website with the "Play!" button, a window has pop with some settings such as "classic, windowed mode, game directory, etc.". But it has never occured again I've the feeling that I'll have to uninstall the whole game, and reinstall it again...

I don't think you'll have to reinstall the whole game again but we'll see.
If you want to see the options again, click the + button next to the Play button in your browser.

It doesn't work... Either I try "Play it!" or "Launcher Settings", absolutely nothing happens... Damn, it's so annoying when you feel to be so close to play and something is ****** up The launcher has to be installed into the DAoC folder ? Or it doesn't matter ?

I don't know why, but I'm pretty sure the problem come from those : Microsoft NET Framework 4.6 and Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 for x86 I had to install. Because I had to install a version or "NET Framework" some months ago to use a special software too, but I don't remember which one. Same goes for "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio" etc. I hope it doesn't make a conflict in the computer and doesn't allow me to use the launcher... Is it possible to uninstall those things to try the launcher without them ? EDIT : Yesterday night when I was trying to connect with the launcher, I got an error : "Update check Failed", and none of that today. I don't understand what the hell is happening

I would try uninstalling both, restarting your computer and then trying the launcher. It will likely fail, but at that point, reinstall them both and restart your computer again and try the launcher after that. I know there were some folks who had to uninstall-reinstall though it was quite rare.

Well, I've removed Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 for x86 But apparently I can't uninstall NET Framework 4.6 because another software seems to use it . The weird thing I had 2 NET Framework 4.6 appearing in CCleaner (a soft I use to uninstall softwares), I've managed to remove one of them, but the second one still remains. And now I tried to use the launcher, and I get this error again : "update check failed". Guys, it's insane.... There isn't a "simple" way to just log to Uthgard ? Because I can launch DAoC, but not a simple third launcher... Seriously
