I hope no one mind me telling this:

For anyone who want to test something below level 30, ie. quests, here is a simple way.

Left-click big Feline, then do /whisper <lvl>
ie.
/whisper 24

I was on the server for a moment and found 107 level 30 people not anon,
and 9 people between level 5 and 30!
A lot of low level stuff is still not done, especially quests,
and of course you can also try the lower level BG's.

I appreciate that you do not want to upset the economy, however I have just created a new cleric as an example:

1) Ran from Prywden Keep to Camelot - /lvled to 30 and took the free equipment.
2) No money for a horse, so will have to run all the way to CS, then through and out and find something at least green con.
3) Hope it drops enough money
4) Then finally to the BG at Caledonia

Why not deposit 50 silver upon collecting the equipment from the NPC? Hardly going to set the economy on fire and will allow quick and easy access to make alts and test abilities in RvR etc? It is all getting deleted ultimately anyway?

Merely imho - happy to be corrected on the above if there is a quick / easy source of money much closer by (and I do not mean begging from other players)

50s can be an upset to the economy.. in a bad way. 10 free caledonia necs are a good upset to the economy. So make your pick..

Care to elaborate on this? As your post makes little sense to me atm.

50 silver will upset the economy? How exactly? It will all be spent on horse rides and BG neckys - ie: all to an NPC therefore disappears.

Unless you are seriously suggesting that individuals will create toons over and over again xfering the silver across to make money? which is downright laughable.

Happy to discuss tho, genuinely interested in hearing your point of view.

Call it laughable, I am sure this would happen. Guess you can do 50-100g/h which is better than you can do with a 30nec/ani/bd. It is the only upset to the economy that I could think of resulting from it.

If you think about it, it is not even that bad. What is missing in the economy r/n is cash, there are more value items and crafting services available than people with gold to spend. In that regard this would help find a better cash/asset ratio and would prolly result in a global invigoration of the economy. Resulting in more gold in the pockets of those sitting on the assets / providing the services. If the free money is spent on tickets and neck.. that certainly does not impact the economy.

Anyways, I was just trying to say you should demand the right things and not little chow-chow things. If they want us to test caledonia, they should ****** provide a teleport and bind and equip there. Why do we always have to jump the extra hoops with this server..? My judgement for this I30 thing is : failure.

What is the big deal, you walk out of SF kill a mob and you have enough silver to buy a medallion, make sure and bind on the stone before teleporting and then if you don't earn any coin in bg , walk outside of sf and kill one mob... Lazy players is what killed this game IMO, Uthgard Staff you are doing great, I appreciate you all very much.!

Last I checked SF isn't in Albion or Hibernia - yes you can /lv a 30 skald then run there and grab some coin.

Can't do that in the other realms - for example, make a saracen rogue and start in Camp Forest with no money - how long to run to Camelot for /lv?

Anyway, ultimately it is what it is.

I have still enjoyed my walk down memory lane

I haven't even bothered to play with he i30 yet as I can already tell it's not for me. I went from ardee to tnn just to check it out then I /q. 85% qual stuff then gtfo. Very helpful. What am I supposed to test with that?

I hope that the i50 stage will be a little more thought out and rvr-intended. If I have to farm to test rvr then I'll probably just wait til launch.

+respect to those that are cracking on though. Somebody has to do it so I applaud you. I just don't have time to struggle with something I don't enjoy. I'll certainly be hitting live though.

I finally bought fallout4 though to pass the time - pretty decent.

Granted it is a long run from Camp Forest, but if you save your coins from the time you make the rogue and finally make level 5 so you can pick a profession, wouldn't that give you 5 silver? My point is, it is simply not that hard to get 5 silver in the game, even in the first 5 levels.
