So Gnome confirmed on my issue 1907 that they are implementing custom changes to mobs, ie abilities/snares/target changes etc. to spice up combat :| seems in most cases, just makes it more difficult for casters. K

Anyways we don't really get any input on this stuff unfortunately, so I would like to make a list for alb players of mobs with modified behaviour so people will know before they go to kill mobs they used to farm on live and end up getting wiped by new abilities.

So far on alb-
Legil has long range aoe mez and dd( not 100% if this is live like, didn't kill him a whole lot back then)
Essence Shredder in DF- Has snare and switches target immediately after snaring ( have fun pet casters)
Cthonian Crawler- had snare on live I believe but did not have the auto change target after.
Pikemen- change target immediately after snaring as well

There are a few more I encountered leveling, but I forgot and will continue to add as I go. Feel free to add any odd mob behaviour here.

Thnx

Succubus in DF has mez too, it didn't have it in 1.65, that's for sure.

That mobs change target after rooting for example wasn't in back then too.

But well, it's the confirmation that it's not so strict as they always say it is, so, in the end other custom changes may make it in too. QoL changes mostly.

Anyone else missing the porters in the capitals badly? Make a port 5g, I would not care. They were in pre 1.65 to housing, SI areas and so on ... but not here.

seems to be in line with the "live like 1.65" feeling. At least they got the priorities straight and finally focus on important things. Can´t wait to explore all these hopefully interesting pve features!

This is misunderstood. Read carefully. He quoted Mythics 1.52 patch notes.

my mistake, I thought just that chat log was from that. It just seems like there is many custom changes that are not live like with mobs regarding snare/change target, the whole Dartmoor named mob issue etc. Many old players agree that the these are incorrect behaviour but it all gets tossed out as invalid due to being unable to get 15 year old screen shot or video.

Don't mean to sound unappreciative of what you guys are doing because I really do appreciate the server, but like other players just want to make sure the mob behaviour is correct, and if some is implemented wrong we can not prove it so it goes by as being right even if it is incorrect.

If it's that important for you, just crawl through old forums, grab bags or patch notes to find out if they were changed at any point. If they did not, log on pendragon and check out what spells they are supposed to cast and make a proper report using the issue tracker.

I tried looking everywhere, but you can't find evidence to prove that something didn't exist when it hasn't changed.

If they were never changed, fight them on pendragon and check out what spells / styles they are using. The zone got revamped but afaik most of the old nameds stayed the same.

Talking about the aoe mezz, changing targets after a snare is not live like at all.
