Is there a just getting started guide? I've been told that the named guards will give you a task if you /whisper task
Also found the stonemason in cots that that you can give the flints to for a 100% qual weapon. Is there something similar to that in Arbiad's retreat (sp). Any good starting advice would be helpful TX and GL. Strength and Honor,

Everything you mentioned is all you really need to know. At higher levels (depending on your class) you'll want to research what mobs drop items specific to your class. As far as stonemason in adribards, I'm not sure.
