I'm getting this error when trying to start the launcher. I have the required redists installed, both VC and net framework 4 6 1 I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling DAoC, Uthgard, VC, net framework, clearing registry, etc, nothing works.
I can't post a screenshot because of how restrictive this forum is but it's: "Unhandled Exception in Bootstrapper An unhandled exception was encountered: System(dot)NotSupportedException: *insert normal System(dot)NotSupportedException stuff here* at System(dot)Reflection(dot)RuntimeAssembly(dot)nLoadFile(String path, Evidence evidence) at System(dot)Reflection(dot)Assembly(dot)LoadFile(String path) at Uthgard(dot)Bootstrapper(dot)Program(dot)Main(String[] args)" |

Hmm.. Some weird restrictions on your computer? Some anti virus blocking the launcher from starting?
Be nice. :)

I don't think so. I don't have any 3rd party antivirus programs on my computer, Windows Defender is disabled, and I created exceptions in Windows Firewall inbound and outbound.

According to the documentation, that method can't even throw a NotSupportedException. I recommend reinstalling the .NET framework and rebooting ... has to be something in this direction Check this out maybe: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1523 ... cas-policy Be nice. :)

I've tried reinstalling NET Framework, but it looks like the newest version is "built in" to Windows 10 and I'm not able to uninstall it |

Is your main windows drive on a network partition, or anything like that?
Be nice. :)

Maybe a PCI HD?

No. I've also attempted to install both DAOC and Uthgard on both my HDD and SSD. |

It seems like either you have a broken .NET 4.6 installation (and that causes that method error), or something on your system is preventing calls to Assembly.LoadFile for security reasons (anti-virus, ..?). Not sure what else I can say
![]() Be nice. :)
