How do we play together. I made this account to play with my grandfather. Hit the 3 dots to go to new account. Made a sorc Lvl 5. When logging in it says account already logged in. So it appears I am logged in on a second account of my grandfathers?

^^^ What my teen angel said! Was hoping for a little summer fun on DAOC with her if we can play in same house.

Never could get the kid online. We get a Renderer Creation Failed error.

There should be no problem play on 2 separate computer behind one router (all the same house). I have certainly had 2 people playing on separate computers behind one router.
You will both need your own accounts. You can't share an account. MT :] |

Renderer creation failed error sounds like there is some issue with the videocard or resolution of your screen(using a netbook?!) Got updated carddrivers and direct x installed? Formerly known as

The underlined part is where you went wrong. You needed to make a 2nd Master Account. What you did was make a second account under the same master account. To make a second master account you need to log out completely, and (preferably on whatever computer your other family member will play on) go to the site, use their own openID email to make their own master account. Nez , yeah we moved to a third windows 10 machine after that initial post. Even after uninstalling on the Win 7 machine the reinstall would default to my account.
As also was said it appeared to me to be a conflict is with the video card this time. May be a roll back of the drivers will help. Both machines are i7, windows 10. The one with the Nvidia card loaded fine and I have been using it. This one with an AMD card didn't and had the failure. |

Took out the catalyst control for the amd card and reinstalled it. It downloaded the C++ with the new drivers. That fixed it.
